Since that current runs through parallel conductors too, this plasma ball began to accelerate in magnetic field of conductors. It is very entertaining show, but completely useless. Plasma ball accelerates to a decent speed, but it have too low density to make any significant damage to the target. And slow down quickly in air. I get some wooden planks burning at few meters, but much smaller UV laser do that on much larger distances with much less energy consumption.
