Problem is that people believe a "nation" is the physical territory occupied by a particular government. However, the original meaning of "nation" was a group of ethnically similar people banded together. The Scottish weren't Scottish because they came from Scotland. The fact is, Scotland is Scotland BECAUSE that is where the Scottish originally settled, and I don't care if 100 generations of a Syrian refugee family lives there. That fact will NEVER make them Scottish.
You're forgetting that most people in those rural areas rely on wells and springs for water rather than government sources. The shutting off of electricity is the biggest threat in my opinion. Which is why I have solar.
This may be 'The Plan' but I think you underestimate the amount of guns and ammo in the hands of rebellious veterans in America. The other countries you mentioned are in no way a comparison. And most of those people are concentrated in areas with a higher degree of self-sufficient agriculture and production of necessities.
To me it's a distraction from the fact that no matter whether there is a virus or not, regardless of how contagious and lethal it is, and regardless of how effective any treatment is, it is still the absolute right of any person to abstain from treatment, testing and from any other protective measure (masks) being forced on them through either mandate or coercion of any kind from either government or private entities.
