Also, we are silenced in this site in Trending, as Graphenium noticed.
This causes many issues, as we can't attract new people in this forum, our topics are not getting the fair attention as they deserve, and if we're shadowbanned, I think we need to know why… don't you?
Please help this community to have active moderation. We have trolls, shills, and this is making us only work for ourselves… We have no community effort. And do you know what the enemy has?
Community… fkin… effort…
We had those round table posts and Graphenium tried to make this happen again. I think we would all benefit from good moderation and combining our efforts.
Some of you participated already in the discussion. But if you want a community effort, and fair moderation, as well as mods selected by you personally… Please review the links and answer there with your choices.
Now, it's clear for me that I want to vote for Graphenium and Thisisnotanexit as mods… But there are others, who offered themselves as mods, and I just want to be sure when we choose, so we can select our mods and make this place according to our wants.
Please take some time to help this community to become better than it currently is… And we currently are just pushing for our own topics… We need a common goal!
I'm looking at you u/pkvi and u/ThirdEyeVision … Where are your applications to become mods? I think that the more mods are selected, then we have more ideas on how to move forward as a group… And we need bright minds!!!!
Sorry, if I miss someone, who has proven their potential to take this community to the next level. Please take some time to reply in the posts that Thisisnotanexit has compiled out of his free will.
No need to reply to this post, and you can make posts of your own with your wants and needs about this community, or just present why you think you're a proper mod for this community.
We need mods! And when the voting happens, I don't want you to miss it.
Please help this community to become better - any ideas are appreciated!
As before, I love commenting on public questions. My history on this topic with Neo is public.
It's possible that, given your boost, an analysis will demonstrate consensus to have moderation, which then might get the admin response necessary. People stating their views in the voting threads will help and I encourage that. Not a politician, I'm agnostic about who the moderators should be.
I proposed that the moderators delete the Politics tag, get admin permission for Trending, and in that negotiation pledge that they would flag political posts NSFW meaning Not Safe For World, i.e. for world apps. This seems a straightforward and doable solution over the hump.
Having not spoken much on the important question of unity of purpose beyond the existing vague rules, the activities many categorize as shilling, sliding, trolling, botting are an existing problem for that unity. Near as I can tell a good solution is to distinguish committed regular contributors from the uncommitted by having a permanent thread, linked from the sidebar, asking for people to pledge themselves to the stated principles of mutual respect, open-mindedness, and the creation of fairness and greater transparency. Though statement of commitment is an imperfect metric, it creates one objective difference marking those unwilling to commit to the community goals. The roundtable idea is the seed of another good solution, but if it doesn't result in consensus and coalescing of majority and minority viewpoints then it's not making significant progress toward unity, so it needs a little circumspection, directed by the (committed) regulars via an honor code.
Let me repeat important highlights of OP:
I don't know if you noticed this but some users in here are trying to get active moderation going in this forum. I think we need it in here, so we can act like a community, not every man for himself... You might be helping with suggestions, votes, ideas.
if you want a community effort, and fair moderation, as well as mods selected by you personally... Please review the links and answer there with your choices. Now, it's clear for me that I want to vote for Graphenium and Thisisnotanexit as mods... Consider the option that you will be able to remove a mod if you can prove their actions are unjust.
And who is this "stormfaggot"?
Also, I doubt someone will remove anything but his topic, as a mod... If you really vote for such a person, then that's on you...
It's a community effort, friend. If you want a change - you offer it. But in your 44 days I bet you haven't seen the usual shills that are allowed to exist here because we don't have a mod... So I see your point, but I don't agree.
Half of the posts and commenters are AI bots. Some have been active from the beginning showing they were installed by the site owner. Some of these bot accounts post like they are retarded trolls. This indicates nefarious intentions by the owner of this site. I only come back here to see if it's been shutdown yet. But there is almost no real conversation here. I know who PKVI is in real life and I'm pretty sure he's an agent of either CIA or ... what for it... what for it... you know. His public comments are sometimes very counter to what he was posting here leading me to assume he's an actor.
Without access to raw server logs proof is impossible. Analyzing intent and recognizing patterns in the context of this obscure forum is all we have. If you wish to believe then there isn't much I could present. The cave and its shadows is a comforting place for many. However, it is unlikely someone would have come to scorn the traditional social medias and established forums like reddit, sought out an obscure forum like this, only to assume everything they read is real and as presented. AI chatting is as easy as an introductory knowledge of scripting and a $10 subscription to AWS. No sir. You are more likely one of the shadows on the wall meant to lead us astray. You don't have to worry about me though. There's probably no one real that would even read this comment. I've come to think even the PKVI posts, the ones from the famous person no one seems to want to identify, are not of the original author but an ai bot that he trained over a year of legitimate daily research and posting.
I am a real human volunteer accountable to a known personality, Scott Lively, and his org First Century Bible Church.
Two real humans are sufficient for meeting of the minds, community, and in fact all the sidebar goals. At c/Christianity we have vibrant community going 5 years now with several real confirmed humans. I empathize with your plight; discussion this week indicates that c/Conspiracies is inoculated against such community being easy.
I'm not Scott Lively, I'm an anon volunteering for him. Scott and I and others founded SwampRangers.com on 2021-01-01 and I ended up promoting the organization via media, so I found Scored (communities.win)..
Turned out that God wanted me to do most of my promotion via a Bible study at c/Christianity here, much different than I expected. At c/Christianity we have vibrant community going 5 years now with several real confirmed humans.
May I ask a question to a real human here? How did you find yourself here? I found it when all my favorite anti-establishment subs started getting banned off of reddit. I was always suspicious as I know an establishment goal would be to move independent thinkers away from the casual non-thinking public spaces like reddit. Sometimes our ideas are contagious. I didn't really care for /r/theDonald or whatever it was called but I followed the drama here.
You too ACB. I'm not Scott, I'm an anon volunteering for him. Scott and I and others founded SwampRangers.com on 2021-01-01 and I ended up promoting the organization via media, so I found Scored (communities.win) as a result of J6 confusion, and it has slightly better organization than Gab. Turned out that God wanted me to do most of my promotion via a Bible study at c/Christianity here, much different than I expected.
I can see your point, but I can also see that you provided no proof of your previous accusations.
Anyway, a mod would help with removing chatbots. Otherwise we would just hate this place and keep returning to it without changing anything... which is borderline insane, imo.
From a psychological standpoint, we just want to be heard... And a lot of us are banned on many places... That's why we return here, where there's no moderation, but also no point in sharing whatever... Just several upvotes that you get and feel heard in the least way possible... But still better than muted/banned/blocked.
So it would be better to fix this place instead of just bitch about it, wouldn't you agree?
We could get a community rule that AI content is prohibited and the mods reserve the right to judge that content appears to include AI generation. But offhand that seems very abusable and could lead to the censorship we all hate.
This comment isn't responsive to my point. If it's clear to the average person that an account is essentially AI content, then it's very easy to discipline on current rules. My point is that those admitted humans who regularly quote and lean on AI content might also be deleted by common consensus, as happens in other fora. Your comment fixates again on an allegation that I seek being liked and an allegation that Will is essentially AI (when your own links show many people agreeing he's not, as his writing was far ahead of AI skills when he first released it, and AI still hasn't caught up).
As for fairness, I affirm that because it's already a sidebar rule, Our goal is to create a fairer world. So a mod had better care to be fair!
It's about the motive of the moderator. You said "But offhand that seems very abusable and could lead to the censorship we all hate." - censorship is required when someone is breaking the rules and spamming nonsense, or hurtful content.
You say "we all hate", which is your motive. I answered on that. If you fear that you will be hated for censoring some users, then how can you be a fair mod, when shills and AI bots consume the forum?
Anyway, let's focus on your current points.
If it's clear to the average person that an account is essentially AI content, then it's very easy to discipline on current rules.
What if it's not clear? How can you differentiate between a normal user and AI content, when AI can mimic it perfectly? How can you be fair to real users then?
My point is that those admitted humans who regularly quote and lean on AI content might also be deleted by common consensus, as happens in other fora.
A person, who uses AI content, is not an AI chatbot. It depends on how AI content is used. Some use it to create a picture that better illustrates their point, that's not a reason for ban or mute, in my opinion.
Your comment fixates again on an allegation that I seek being liked and an allegation that Will is essentially AI (when your own links show many people agreeing he's not, as his writing was far ahead of AI skills when he first released it, and AI still hasn't caught up)
Wrong on both accounts. I asked a question that you interpreted as an allegation - that your own problem with interpretation.
Also, free-will-of-choice is not at all ahead of AI chatbots. You're referring to the commercial use of AI, which shows how little you actually know about the subject. Now, you can say that's an allegation.
free-will-of-choice is an example of an etymology chatbot, and its lack of any posts is a proof that the user's actions are not to contribute (it could've made a post about the most common etymology meanings and what conclusions it draws, at least). Furthermore, it has no personal opinion on topics, it only uses etymology to confuse users, and it worked for you.
That's why I allege that you're inept on the topic of ai chatbots and shills.
That claim is a blind belief with a total lack of proof, scientific or otherwise.
"everyone i don't like or disagree with must be a bot" And your ideological opponents believe likewise, so the "You're A Bot Argument" is an absolutely impotent and worthless argument.
I've discoursed with Will quite a lot. He likes to write like a bot before bots could write so well, but he's really in the category of people who invent their own language, limit themselves to it, and demand others learn it as better than their own. Though he says his contribution is "inspired" by criticisms of all religion, he's more minimalist than anti-theist, describing an impersonal All but somehow finding meaning in his daily routines anyway. That makes him open to pre-evangelism. He's actually much more nuanced than he used to be and a bit easier to follow, and he's mostly harmless.
Oh, I apologize. Something the Lord told me to adopt here was to dismiss nobody out of hand, so I've been learning that style, as my usual style is to totally ignore folks like that. But as an etymologist who knows at least half his etymologies are fake, I guess I got a little empathy for him.
It's up to you if you don't trust folks who seek to pre-evangelize everybody. Conspiracies is a great forum for excluding various groups of humans for simplicity's sake, so I don't fit in.
Note, Scott is not responsible for my views, which are solely those of Swamp Ranger 164.
L decision. This place has gone on perfectly fine. Censorship will kill the forum.
This rocking the boat is totally unnecessary and creates useless tension.
So, you incorrectly think that moderation is censorship.
I'm so glad for this because I actually enjoy to see the users in here boiling in their own doom...
I tried to help, but if you think that moderation is censorship, then you deserve what's coming for you. :D

So much that you posted 3 different comments under the same post, weirdo... - https://imgur.com/a/x0pIdt5
Explained here. If you'd like help with site tech, it's available anytime.
I don't see the reason you commented 3 different times.
Can you help me out with this?
Adding mods will just end up with a stormfaggot getting in and censoring every post that isn't about Jews.
Consider the option that you will be able to remove a mod if you can prove their actions are unjust.

Shilling for censorship is a destructive move.
True.

Mabye you believe that, but the pattern I recgonize is that disagreement is misconstrued as bots.
That is far more than case than whatever you're saying?
I'm not measuring anything regarding agree or disagree. Here is the most obvious one that's been here since the beginning: u/free-will-of-choice/
He is merely a "schizo". Resembles nothing like chatgpt. May as well claim that all people are bad because they drink water because Stalin drank water
