As before, I love commenting on public questions. My history on this topic with Neo is public.
It's possible that, given your boost, an analysis will demonstrate consensus to have moderation, which then might get the admin response necessary. People stating their views in the voting threads will help and I encourage that. Not a politician, I'm agnostic about who the moderators should be.
I proposed that the moderators delete the Politics tag, get admin permission for Trending, and in that negotiation pledge that they would flag political posts NSFW meaning Not Safe For World, i.e. for world apps. This seems a straightforward and doable solution over the hump.
Having not spoken much on the important question of unity of purpose beyond the existing vague rules, the activities many categorize as shilling, sliding, trolling, botting are an existing problem for that unity. Near as I can tell a good solution is to distinguish committed regular contributors from the uncommitted by having a permanent thread, linked from the sidebar, asking for people to pledge themselves to the stated principles of mutual respect, open-mindedness, and the creation of fairness and greater transparency. Though statement of commitment is an imperfect metric, it creates one objective difference marking those unwilling to commit to the community goals. The roundtable idea is the seed of another good solution, but if it doesn't result in consensus and coalescing of majority and minority viewpoints then it's not making significant progress toward unity, so it needs a little circumspection, directed by the (committed) regulars via an honor code.
Let me repeat important highlights of OP:
I don't know if you noticed this but some users in here are trying to get active moderation going in this forum. I think we need it in here, so we can act like a community, not every man for himself... You might be helping with suggestions, votes, ideas.
if you want a community effort, and fair moderation, as well as mods selected by you personally... Please review the links and answer there with your choices. Now, it's clear for me that I want to vote for Graphenium and Thisisnotanexit as mods... But there are others, who offered themselves as mods, and I just want to be sure when we choose, so we can select our mods and make this place according to our wants. Please take some time to help this community to become better than it currently is... And we currently are just pushing for our own topics... We need a common goal!

Explained here. If you'd like help with site tech, it's available anytime.
I don't see the reason you commented 3 different times.
Can you help me out with this?
