DC is not a state. DC residents do not get a vote. Every crime in DC can be tried federally. Do you get it yet? DC isn't the same as the rest of the States.

Criminals who violate Common Law only (murder, theft, assault) can be restrained and afforded a speedy trial in Common Law but only for those 3 Common Law violations. Statute law is NOT supposed to be enforced on civilians but only Gov employees or Corporate entities.
