The school leadership has only one goal, and that is to narrow the achievement gap, and if that means ignoring the struggling white kids, and letting them fall behind, thats perfectly acceptable.

The superintendent of our school system told me, to my face, that they no longer teach the kids to write in cursive. I asked why and he replied because they have laptop computers to do all of their work on. Tests are taken on the laptops. They don't need to use pencils. I then asked a few of the students in the district and to a person they said they could not write cursive because they were never taught how to do it. They cannot even read cursive handwriting. I think this is intentional so the kids won't be able to read the Declaration of Independence in it original script, thus when the power fails, they won't be able to read the cursive so they won't know their rights. Pretty insidious if you ask me. Libs need to be booted form any institutions of learning.
