The ocean is basically the giant washing machine God gave us. Sure we can pollute it locally and temporarily, but over time (and I don't mean decades - just a few years) it will purify and clean up our messes.
All the scaremongering about the ocean is just as legit as the climate change propaganda.

How irradiated is the water. Didn't Musk eat irradiated Fukushima vegetables after meltdown. Boris in the UK was trying put the Fukushima vegetables into the food banks.

Japan had two nuclear weapons dropped on population centers and they bounced back. I think we can handle a little radioactive water.
