The Earth is flat and stationary. When the Jews, the Freemasons and the Jesuits tell you it's a spinning ball, you know it's time to ask questions.

Heliocentrism was actually invented and calculated on by Jesuits. Nicolaus Copernicus was the Jesuits front man and the (his) theories were supported by Jesuit astronomer Giovanni Battista Riccioli. I'm not sure how many people know this.

Do you know what Sir Isaac Newton, Nicolaus Copernicus, Albert Einstein and Charles Darwin have in common? turns out they were all high rank Freemasons and all occultists.

What lol, how do you explain all the monuments built much longer before that. Like the great pyramid of egypt which only shows its 8 sides on the equinox, or the serpent of the chichen itsa pyramid?

The mainstream theory is that they calculated all this using sticks in the mud and recording the suns movements for hundreds of years.

I tend to believe the old stories though, that their gods gave them this knowledge.

Funny you mention this. I just saw one a little while ago, just posted on Twitter. Haven't had a chance to do any research. Apparently an old map from the Vatican Library dated 1680: https://twitter.com/FlatEarthZone/status/1657945701421121536

I am asking you if you believe that this map is an accurate map of a flat Earth.

Why are you asking me this? you also asked Fubardian is he/she believes in the Gleason's map? of course you have seen it. What difference does it make to you what I believe, or don't believe in? obviously you believe we're living on a spinning ball. Is there one thing that you can share here why you think that? I'm not even asking for proof, I gave up on that a while back. Just something that makes sense.

The whole point of the thread is that Flat Earthers are not able to present a model of the flat earth.

Are you a Flat Earther and do you think that the Gleeson map is an accurate representation of the Flat Earth?

i've seen crude models or ideas, but not a full simulation that can explain things like; -constellations and moon appear 'upside down' in southern hemisphere from orientation observed in n.hemisphere. this is not observed going east to west.
-elongated day/night times observed in north and southern poles. f.e. model shows how this works in the northern pole but not south.

Really? what evidence? I'm still waiting ... how about a photo of ball Earth from NASA. Just one single photo of our planet, beside the one taken in 1946. Not some bullshit, photoshop composite, Blue Marble Earth.

My senses tell me Earth is flat and doesn't spin. I could be wrong, but I'd rather believe my senses than a stranger. You talk about evidence, how about explaining how the river Nile could even exist on a globe Earth? from the start at Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea, straight distance 2400 miles (4000+ miles because it zigzags). According to the Earth curvature calculator Lake Victoria would have to be 350 miles in altitude for the Nile to exist. That's higher than the Space Station? according to most publications I looked at Lake Vitoria is three quarters of a mile elevation. are you serious?

Not trying to discredit you here, because im sure you dont believe sattelites are real..

But one picture has "supposedly" been taken since then.

https://qz.com/458826/behold-nasas-first-image-in-decades-of-the-whole-earth

The Japanese Hayabusa spacecraft captured a full image of the earth in 2004 during its mission collecting samples from an asteroid. In January 2015, another Japanese craft, the Himawari-8 weather satellite, began recording full-disk images at 10 minute intervals. Even the US’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration GOES satellites capture full-disk images of the earth, but these weather satellites are in geostationary orbits, meaning they capture the same view of the earth over and over.

DSCOVR can capture a full-disk image at any point in the Earth’s rotation.

The images captured during DSCOVR’s mission are an ancillary function for the satellite. Its primary function: to remain between the Earth and the sun to detect solar wind, for scientific and safety purposes. (The safety issue stems from concerns that a geomagnetic storm caused by solar wind could disrupt everything from power grids to the GPS system.) This vantage point gives it a view of an always-fully-lit Earth as the planet spins in front of it. The satellite, launched earlier this year, is expected to take a full earth image at least once a day and transmit it home.

Just sayin, thats all.

Yes, gravity. Perhaps you can explain something about this. The Nile river travels from lake Victoria in the South to the Mediterranean Sea in the North. Straight distance 2,400 miles (4,130 mi total distance). Lake Victoria surface elevation is 1,133 m (less than a mile). I did a calculation using Earth curvature calculator and the drop, due to Earth curvature, and taking only half of that when assuming the Earth being a ball, is 350 miles. That is more than the distance from Earth to the Space Station. So, on a ball Earth Lake Victoria would have to be above the ISS for water to find its level, and for the Nile river to empty in the Sea.

Is the Nile river subject to gravity in your opinion?

I don't know what shape the Earth, but I find it fascinating we're in 2023 and still not a single photo of the Earth from NASA. There is one from 1946, taken at the end of the WW2 and Earth looks to be flat. NASA has given us photos of Pluto, but the the planet we live on. I find that very fishy.

Based on this post, and others like it, I'm inclined to believe the Earth is flat. They always talk down anyone who believes the Earth is flat and doesn't spin or move around the Sun. To me that is the obvious, I don't feel any motion, I see the water always finds its level. I would like to see the Glob-alists come up with good solid arguments and proof. Not "people who believe in flat Earth are stupid", that makes me go the other way.

I don't think the Gleason map is an accurate map of a flat Earth. When he applied for the patent the author was aware and in full knowledge that the map was just a projection of the spherical Earth. And he stated that in the patent filling. But, I'm not sure you're aware of this ... privately Alexander Gleason said that was the only way he was allowed to publish his work.

Nevertheless, I found it useful for modelling. For instance in regards to time zones, which only make sense on a flat level plane.

They have no model and no observational data. They have nothing resembling reality in any form and cannot even perform basic geometry on their claimed plane.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Fubardian 2 points 2 years ago +2 / -0

That is untrue. At 8 inches squared per mile for a ball earth. You can go 8 inches time 3 miles is 24 times 3 again for squared and it is 72 inches. So if you are six feet tall and you can see shore line or a shore line level object over three miles away than it is flat. They claim they can and show picture of it. Example is the world record setting photo for length.

That is observational data. Look I am not saying the earth is flat, but they aren't stupid or crazy, they have a lot of thought and research into it. For example did you know that NASA is the Hebrew word meaning to deceive. They could just be laughing in your face.

permalink parent save report block reply

– SaltDistribution 2 points 2 years ago +2 / -0

They use words for everything, Hebrew, Greek, Latin, etc. For instance the word Heliocentric ... it was first used by the Pythagorean cult who returned to Greece from Egypt 3rd century BC. Helios for ancient Egyptians is Horus, the Sun God they used to worship. Centric means center. So, Heliocentric means the worship of Horus (the Sun God). We are being taught a 2500 year old cult/religion masquerading as Science. Shame on us if we fall for this.

Researching and trying to figure out the world around you is far from stupid. In fact questioning things that have been fed to you since a child takes a certain amount of intelligence.

There is a ton they are not incorrect about. Most things work perfectly fine in both systems, such a solar eclipses.

Lol. All praise the almighty model.

There is no flat earth model in a scientific sense of the word model.

Your (encouraged) misunderstanding is that models are useful/used in determining reality scientifically. Models are tools built for limited and specific purpose. We don’t study them to better understand reality.

We study reality to do that, not models!

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– jack445566778899 1 point 2 years ago +2 / -1

Show what? Evidence for the world being flat?

The most obvious evidence comes from hydrostatics (the study of water at rest). Water cannot and does not constantly curve convexly in the manner the globe model requires it to.

The belief that it does, because it must for the world to be spherical (and believed largely covered in water), is just that - an unempirical [aka unscientific] belief.

When water’s surface at rest is measured - barring negligible surface tension artifacts and under natural conditions - it is always level, flat, and horizontal. There are no exceptions, which is why it has been a law of hydrostatics for more than 3 centuries.

I feel it is important to mention/caution that having evidence for something does not make something true.

A model of the flat Earth. It's literally there in the thread title.

I know it is hard to hold multiple conversations simultaneously so i forgive you for forgetting who you are talking to and what we’ve already spoken about.

I already told you very clearly that, in regards to “model” in a scientific sense of the word, there is no such thing.

However, models aren’t used to determine reality - so not having one or having one is meaningless.

As predicted, none of the flat Earthers is able to show one.

“Flat earthers” don’t really exist in the way they have been presented to you. They are agents and/or products of a heavily advertised (i.e. funded) psyop.

In any case, asking someone for something that doesn’t exist and “predicting” they won’t be able to give it to you is pretty silly.

If you truly want to learn more about earnest flat earth research (as opposed to the psyop you seem to have some experience with), and why people who study it conclude ostensibly wild things (like that the world is not spherical the way we are taught) - please join us on flatearthresearch to exchange views!

Thank you for proving my point.

However, models aren’t used to determine reality - so not having one or having one is meaningless.

That is a nonsensical statement. A model can be an accurate representation of reality. Why are you unable to show a representation of a flat Earth?

Earth is not flat.

Then why do you keep saying that?

Stop talking to the voices in your head - they’re not your friends.

Because you’re too mentally defective to comprehend what truth is. Drink bleach.

Says the “person” who can’t read or respond to things that are actually said, and instead quotes themselves :(

Next time you feel like talking to yourself, there is no need to post here. Just another reminder.

Earth is probably flat, because why would it not be plus jews are adamant its a spinning ball, yet also tallskil work is commendable. Flat, sphere, spilling or stationary can we all agree on that.

The Earth is flat and stationary. Not only the Jews are adamant it's a spinning ball, but heliocentrism was invented by Nicolaus Copernicus, a Jesuit.
