Books are used in schools to ensure that the indoctrination is so thorough that it stands up to attempts at deprogramming. Once someone has been through university-level brainwashing, it's nearly impossible to deprogram them.
Books were great before cable/internet. In the 80s/90s, people would, honestly, actually read books! Unfortunately, (((they))) controlled all of the major publishing houses, so the information was (((highly curated))).
Nowadays... books are actually not so useful. Blogs get the core information across much more efficiently. But blogs are super easy to curate via (((search engines))).
In fact, I have a whole head-canon around the idea that God only lets Hell and Death people loose on the Earth during Apocalypses (apocalypsi?), and when those people realize they're alive they say, "I'm woke," and proceed to rush back right where they came from.
Indoctrination has been understood for likely many thousands of years.
The tools are constantly evolving the result is nearly the same.
Everyone has accepted to use it to spread their gospel, using the available tools at the time. If you want to find a way to spread information you want to reach a crowd that reads books, you need a book worth of writing to do it.
write it how those technologies informed mass rollout strategies.
the insulin coma experiments where they would inject kids w massive insulin to remove glucose to induce a coma every day for weeks months or years, to massive sugar dose cereals producing similar crashes.
a) adaptation to perceived inspiration represents vision; consenting to suggested information represents others "tell a vision"
b) among other ones, one is tempted to ignore all perceivable needed for wanted suggestions by others.
c) suggestion (want or not want) aims at choice to ignore being the center of perceivable balance (need/want).
d) ignoring need (perceivable) for want (suggested) causes an imbalance (want vs not want) among all those who ignore being within balance (need/want). This conflict is called reason.
e) choice needs to respond to perceivable balance (need/want); while resisting the temptation of suggested imbalance (want vs not want) by other choices.
f) to consent to any suggestion represents a choice (consent) to choice (suggestion) contract law aka the inversion of perceivable balance (action) to choice (reaction) natural law.
g) the parasitic few industrialized the use of contract law among the ignorant many as RELIGION; noun (Latin religio) - "to bind anew". Hence; balance to choice (original bond) and choice to choice (being bound anew).
In short...the foundation of a tell-a-vision represents the exploitation of the many consenting to what the few are suggesting; which in return allows the few to define; redefine and contradict the meaning of everything suggested for the many.
Books are more for those already seeking the who where when why how.
The details.
Changing minds with a book, less likely.

Yes
Writing books is hard. Yes.
But to say anything like 'just watch the movie's - the book is not needed......you probably werent actually writing a book......
Books are to provide new perspective....all stories are always going to be somewhat repeated knowledge. That is the whole idea.....
