I agree with you on the Pagers attack. My final conclusion is they used explosives inside the pagers. Because also like what TurnToGodNow said, all the pager explosions were simultaneous.
BUT I think the explosions the second day happened by heating up the batteries. Casualties the next day were few in comparison and from a video I saw the explosions did not happen simultaneously the next day and seemed to happen from one area to the next as if beam forming can only target one location. Also many Lebanese could hear a large airplane while it happened.
The pagers explosion was certainly simultaneous. So I think the pagers did have explosives on them.
For the explosions that happened the next day and were less damaging I think they may have used an ability to actually heat up the batteries of electronic devices at a distance.
