Some things he says are dangerous in my opinion. In his first TED talk--What explains the rise of humans?, he (in my opinion) conflates the abstract with the fictitious, going on to argue that human rights are therefore fictitious.

I revently saw a post by u/Corporis that sharply criticized Fox News. To me that goes against what you are saying about the constantly polarized message.
The defence is that these devices (in conjunction with ankle bracelets) are used for voiceprint, facial recognition and GPS tracking.
