I suspect this whole thing is another attempt to push us into a false dichotomy. Some shill accounts are pushing Russia as good guys and others are pushing Ukraine as good guys. THis will lead to further division including along dem/rep lines. But there is plenty of evidence both are bad guys. We need to start resisting the repetitive good guy/bad buy narratives they keep pushing. Humans have a strong tendency towards tribalism and they are using that to manipulate us.

Plus rumors swirl that Putin will set up a new kind of banking to solve the SWIFT problem, but basically now he has an excuse to do that. If he had tried to change the banking system for no reason, there'd have been more pushback. This may be the first step in them redoing how banking works.

Best I can tell, the study only involves taking blood and seeing if they caught any of these diseases when they were in that territory in order to see how at risk soldiers in that area are. It's literally only a testing of blood samples.
Ukraine used to be a puppet Russian state but the west managed to switch it to a puppet westerns state a while back. Ukraine has long had big time corruption issues and pretty soon, the USA had lots of grubby little fingers in that pie. It could just be a matter of the Ukraine have been the favorite money grubbing corruption darling. And indirectly I would guess putin did not like having the wester infidels on his border, plus the Donbas regions actually WANTED to be separate from Ukraine and aligned with Russia, they asked for it, so that could easily explain why Putin went in to that region , they asked him to help them. The remaining question is why did he continue past those regions? My guess was he thought it would be easier than it was, that Ukraine would put up less fight and maybe accept it more than they have. Also I've heard that many russians have long considered the ukraine to be a rightful part of russia.

Yeah I am perfectly capable of not like Putin AND also not trusting Zelenskyy. I don't try to wedge everyone into either bad guy or good guy roles like it's a football game. The real world is rarely that simple.
The thing is we already know the media is lazy and just lifts whatever photos they can find to make their stories look better. But laziness does not mean the news from the front is false, it could also be due to lack of footage and photos of what is currently happening. If I am at war, I would probably not want my current position revealed for instance and journalists are probably not on the front lines taking photos. I think we just have to admit that we don't know what is happening for sure.

I would not use yandex for info on the ukraine but it still might be good for other conspiracy theory stuff like iss fake video, it is certainly still way better than google for a lot of searches. I looked into this earlobe thing a while back and what I noticed was that officially release publicity shots have the normal looking lobes and the rest had the goofy lobes. I suspect that official photos are simply photoshopped to make him look better. In this world of instagram makeovers, it would be more surprising if they didn't tidy up some photos than if they did.
