So why wouldn't some people shorting it also buy calls if they're expecting a large movement? Why announce shorting it and why would we trust people saying to jump on it? Looking at it myself, I can say it looks like it's a self-devaluing mechanism that gives the people who have had the time and resources to buy most of it (China and globalists) rewards for having large portions of them. Others would need to prop up the prices for them. If people move onto a new one that doesn't do this, then they will be buying into one that is easily controlled by the same people because it requires even less resources to acquire.
