...or i could have worked in a few trades that oft use masks and respirators and never heard anyone complain about lightheadedness, nor experienced it myself when using such equipment. that, and having gone through several levels of OSHA training and not once hearing any instructor or textbook call for supervisors to be alert for signs of oxygen deprivation in relation to masks or respirators.
nor were any such warnings or cautions issued when going through military NBC training, which require the use of even more restrictive masks and filtering.

the reasoning propaganda for the masks were always bullshit, but assertions of O2 deprivation aren't accurate at all. for decades there's been people in the trades having to wear masks or respirators. if masks were restricting 02, OSHA would've gotten involved.
