I'm guessing OP's plans for the weekend

Well if that wasn't about the most interesting thing I've seen in a while.

Edit: I found this cool text in the comments

VA mental health. After the Army I don't have it in me to be a criminal.

My case manager went on and on for years about masking and social distancing because "the government said," and now when I tell her to stock up on canned goods because "the government said," she thinks I'm just being paranoid.

Thanks. I don't usually even bother with the videos anymore, because there's enough ads on the page already.

Unless there's more to it that I'm missing, that "article" was a whole two sentences:

A proposal making its way through Tennesssee state legislature would establish a common-law marriage between “one man” and “one woman.” However, opponents of the bill say it would eliminate an age requirement, and in some instances, open the door for a coverup of child sex abuse.

Anyway, here's the bill they're (apparently) talking about. Sometimes I think it's deliberately left out of the articles because they don't want you to read it for yourself.

Edit: Here's the "Summary," establishing marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Edit Edit: Ohhh, I get it now. They're saying by not explicitly defining ages in the definition of "marriage," they are allowing people to circumvent any consent laws. So now they're back to explicitly defining "woman" and "man" again.

Are there any biologists in the house? Because when I read "between one MAN and one WOMAN" I was certainly not picturing a couple of junior-high school students.

I got this cool link from that thread that shows cancellations. It says 2853 cancellations today, but I don't know if that's considered "a lot" by them or not.

Of course, to hear the airlines tell it, it's just business as usual. Nothing to see here.

I think you meant "skipped xer"

The Milky Way is the red dot on this creature that's moving through a garden.

Edit: Just like all your stoner friends said

The way things have been going, I'm a little surprised YouTube even allows that video to stay up.

The comments are a comedy treasure trove!

I wonder if that explains why they've always pressured me to "participate;" to see what sort of incriminating nonsense I might spew.

Spoiler: tons

Not one person in the comments even raised the possibility that it may be vaccine-related. It's like some kind of secret code that nobody can talk about.

Maybe that helps explain why LinkedIn has been so unsuccessful as a tool for me.

At about: 1:09, he seems to miss (intentionally or not) the significance of Truman munching on a slice of pizza while reading the "Classified" section of the newspaper.

That's hilarious!

That's pretty inspiring.

I never did find his tweet, but here's one from another user with the same message.

The good news is that the comments on this tweet seem almost overwhelmingly skeptical.

Edit: for people who hate twitter, just change "twitter.com" to "nitter.net" and you can see the whole thing without logging in.

I don't know anything about the news agency, but if you can make it through the advertising minefield, that's a pretty terrifying article.

Why you hate sources, OP?

How did I know it was going to turn into an ad for drugs?

Medication is used to prevent and treat DVT. Compression stockings (also called graduated compression stockings) are sometimes recommended to prevent DVT and relieve pain and swelling. These might need to be worn for 2 years or more after having DVT. In severe cases, the clot might need to be removed surgically.
