Holy crap thanks for writing all this out man. Back when ZCash first launched I figured zero-knowledge proof based coins would take the cake immediately. At this point Monero was known for being used to facilitate illegal drug trade and other illegal activities, so I thought it would have a pretty good chance of being the winner in that space. But I never spent the time to get into Monero, and I never spent the time to really get into any aspect of best practices for long-term storage, etc. I wish I had. Thank you so much for giving me a headstart on this stuff, because I definitely think that it's a good idea to at least have some of a privacy coin like Monero.
BTW, based on the brevity of the hardware wallet portion of your comment, I take it you are not a fan of the hardware wallets available at all. If that's not correct, is there one you recommend the most?

It's inspiring to hear about your recovery from opioids. I have a family member who was addicted and has been taking Suboxone for, IIRC, 8 years now. At first I thought it was a life saver; not I think it's horseshit - he definitely gets some kind of small high from it also (he calls it a mild euphoria). Either way, I'm like "wait, so the plan is to take this shit forever or something?" I've tried convincing him to ween himself off of it, but it's like telling a smoker to quit; they're not going to. One addiction (opioids) for another (Suboxone)...
BTW, same exact feeling about doctors. They are complete trash, and after 2020 I went from barely trusting them to "I'd rather do my own surgery on myself, risking passing out and bleeding out, than go into one their dungeons of doom.

Absolutely, I read a study pertaining the "organomercury" that they use in the flu vaccine. The half life was said to be less than half of normal mercury, so then people thought "well it must be safer. But in this study what they found was that the reason the half life appeared to be sure it was that it crossed the blood brain barrier more easily and stayed in the brain, so it was undetectable in their bloodstreams... because it was all in their brains. That's the kind of shit that makes you go, "these people are pure evil".

I feel the same way, that I'm not sure what to believe, but that I'm certain NASA is lying and using CGI and that there are at least some satellites up there on balloons, and all the other stuff. It's just the implications are so enormous. If it's true, what does that mean? Are we living in a petri dish, is the world much bigger and broken into zones, etc. it's all so ridiculous, but also... impossible to ignore.
I 100% agree. I don't "believe" in any model, because most of what we believe about basically everything was taught to us, from a young age, by government employees in a reeducation camp.
