Also not having a broken air conditioner, a bunch of thrift shop silverware, fake family photos and mold smell, bullshit lies when you ask why the bathtub doesn't work, a complete lack of security due to the single pane windows that are about to fall out of the frame, yet spy cameras watching you when you enter leave the property. I fucking cannot stand Airbnb rentals. We've done it a number of times when we were visiting somewhere that is always busy in the summer and we couldn't get a hotel long enough. Every single time it's some bullshit nightmare. One time everything smells like cat food, another time the kitchen smells like piss because the people before us at a dog and it was locked into the kitchen for a week 🤣 every Airbnb experience for us is like a bad dream.
This is actually pretty terrifying for a couple reasons, one being that they are so desperate they are reaching back as far as elderly retired people, and because it means the intentional DEI bullshit ads and fuckery have made real Americans anti-military service to the point where recruitment is way down.
Wait, am I understanding correctly that this is just the declassification of a document that was in effect in 2001, and not that this is happening right now?
Veterans of the Vietnam war would not be very useful to recall now, since most of them are much older than fighting age (not to mention most of them have medical problems from the abuse and chemical exposure they were put through).
That's actually a terrifying thought. Imagine that kind of chaos that could ensue, and good people being trapped up there with those apes (not everybody can just bail out on their families, etc., sucks that people are having their home towns/states turn into communist hell holes).
EDIT
Devon Island, Canada.
(thanks u/WindyJibbz)
PRE-EDIT
Banff, Canada.
Years ago somebody pointed out a specific location in Banff, Canada, where you could line up some mars rover photos with the exact landscape from Google earth in this location. Also, they "practice with the Mars rover in Banff because the terrain is similar to Mars".
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I think the shots' sparks look very similar to this, other than the fact that they are occurring directly out of the barrel, which could easily be achieved with some kind of fire cracker style round coming out, which is exactly what it seems like (the secondary explosion of the first close up shot).
True that, combining multiple types of security, including some basic obscurity, is much smarter when you have threats coming from every direction. People used to proclaim, back in the day, in the tech world "obscurity through security is no security at all", while using passwords, which are literally just obscure strings of characters.
Yeah, that was me (re: songbird). I had remembered that taking place in 2023, so when I found out it was this year I was like "oh great". But, I kind of felt the same way, like the COVID card had already been played too hard, so "as long as there isn't some new scam, then we should be ok", etc., but now to find out that bird flu is back in business... I just always think back to Bill Gates saying "the next pandemic will get their attention", or whatever it was he said while laughing.
Fuck. Here we go. They've been hyping up bird flu since around the same time as SARS, so I could see this being the next ticket. I was hoping for a semi normal year (aside from the "election").
Now that we're renting again I'm super worried about shit going down. Back before our first home sale in 2022 we had a really solid setup (impact glass, concrete, the works). I wish there was an undo button for dumb decisions, or that we'll be back in a good place before this shit goes south.
Sorry. That wasn't my intention (diversion). I haven't looked into JFK very much, aside from watching Dark Legacy back in the day, and some older documentaries years back. I was less interested in the possibility that a bullet could be captured in the film and more interested in the tree fade, which seemed to indicate some tomfoolery.
That sucks, man. We lost pretty much everything in our last building accident as well.
That pistol looks pretty sweet, though. I'm not a huge fan of 300blk because you only gain a tiny bit (~10%) of muzzle energy over .556, at the expense of ballistic coefficient and range, and because it's a narrower spitzer round, you also lose a lot of ability to step up projectile grain weight when you go subsonic. For example, with .458 you can put a can on it and shoot subsonic 600 grain rounds with more muzzle energy than supersonic .556. Subsonic 300blk have less than half the energy, and a similar range. (Sorry to come across like a .458 salesman.)
I recommend an AR pistol, preferably with a heavy hitting round that does well in varying environments (walls, foliage, windows, car doors), which means not a standard spitzer round, but something heavy and wide like a .458 SOCOM. These rounds are nice because they pack twice the punch of a .556 (watch some bear hunting videos with them to see what I mean, they will usually stop any target with one shot), but fit into a standard AR, rather than needing a longer/heavier action, and they are also much lower psi, which means low risk of explosions. However, you can also get by with a 10.5 inch barrel in a 7.62 x 51 (.308), with surprisingly little loss in FPS/muzzle energy, and you could still reach out and touch something at 500 yards with pretty decent accuracy.
The AR pistol format is absolutely a must for the zombie apocalypse, because, for one it's a pistol which means you could legally carry it in a bag, in the interim before the apocalypse, and because it's small and easy to bring with you in your car, easier to deploy in a tight space, lighter weight, etc.
The reason I bring up the skinny/high velocity spitzer rounds being less ideal for this role is that, unless you're planning on sniping with this gun, the most likely scenario for missing a target in a chaotic urban zombie apocalypse scenario is your bullet hitting a branch or going through a windshield or some other soft debris causing it to fly wildly off target. IV 8888 did a video where they showed the .45-70 making its way through branches without any problem, while fast spitzer surrounds like .556 with miss their targets by a long shot after hitting just leaves.
What were the predictions made?
