A few more of those things might add up to something. Are they trying to keep people from leaving the northeast?
That's actually a terrifying thought. Imagine that kind of chaos that could ensue, and good people being trapped up there with those apes (not everybody can just bail out on their families, etc., sucks that people are having their home towns/states turn into communist hell holes).
