People living in HOAs sign a contract to abide by certain shared behaviors. The HOA has the power to foreclose on home owners who do not accorded by these rules and this is where their ability to issue fines comes from. Can credit card companies and banks fine you or are they also unconstitutional? 🤦♂️

It's about supply and demand for the dollar. With debt being primary driver of demand and with most debt being denominated in 10-30 year horizons, it would take decades for it to decline. It's unfortunate that most people don't think in longer horizons- most are focused on the here and now and for them denial will always be accurate
They don't enforce the law- they enforce political policy. They've lost all credibility and need to be reset from the top down
