I'm close to someone who is showing signs of dementia (not vaccinated), and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemies.

I think it was late last year when the GME stock started getting crazy notoriety that some of the press claimed it was market manipulation by right-wingers. Well they're vaccinated, so they're supposed to be fine. So why is this news? I don't think a lot of experts really are so; especially when they are often surprised about things like the news says they are.

It's not just reddit either. I stopped frequenting most tech news sites because their discussion threads contain regular occurrences of calls to violence against people who won't vaccinate. Those posts usually get lots of karma points, too.

Yeah some of these people may be extremely talented at math, engineering, and programming. But that just makes them intellectual barbarians.
