While this is accurate, there's more to the story. For instance, certain refrigerants were banned because they would put a whole in the ozone layer. Reality is that the refrigerants used could be used as nerve gas when ignited. Most people would never think about using it that way, but crazy people are out there. And if they knew before it was all removed, well that could have spelled disaster.
