If you think Covid-19 does not exist you probably only know young people who are not affected by it very much. I personally know of several older people who died and were healthy enough where the flu would not have killed them. I also know a few middle aged people who had migraines or coughing for months after covid. It's not the flu.

That data is incomplete. There were probably about 3.2 million deaths in 2020 so that's a rate of 9.7 percent. Now I am all for the argument that wrecking our economy and killing thousands of small businesses is a gross overreaction to an increase of less than 1 percent from something only slightly worse than the flu.
