I have thought about that, but my digital library is pretty big. It does not make sense to print everything. But I do agree that I should get some hard copies of things.
What is more important is to make sure that I can keep a computer running so I have access to books. This requires hardening myself for access to off grid electricity.

The solution is to ban porn entirely like was the case until the mid 20th Century and not worry about age verification then.

I am already "forced to get around" all of the gross spyware and what not in commercial software. So the have already "won" I guess. I don't really see it that way. I think we won by getting the free / open source world so that we don't need all their spammy shit.
If I have to compile my own OS and install it myself, I can do that. I actually did a full Linux From Scratch about five or six years ago. It is just way more convenient to run a computer from a distro.
