They convinced people brushing your teeth with it was good for your oral health, not drinking it. Generally nobody thinks consuming tap water is a good thing. Only well water.
It’s funny how all of my biology, chemistry, or biochemistry professors at some point mentioned how bad fluorine was on biological systems, yet I’ve never heard an MD speak up on it.
A few months ago, I saw a comment come through on Nextdoor titled something like, "What are we going to do about the fluoride in the water?" I thought, "Thank God, normies are finally getting hip to this.
I open it up to find out that the water company was temporarily switching to another reservoir, and that for about six months they were NOT going to be fluoridating the water. That's what this guy was flipping out about.
I really thought I'd seen some brainwashing before that.

Funny enough the reported side effects of both are psychosis and severe neurological symptoms. When you drop SSRI’s cold turkey, your brain goes into detox/repair mode leading to periods of severe symptoms and potentially death.
