Just looking at the temperature range on Mars. It's 1.5x the distance from the sun as earth and the surface temp ranges from a balmy 70F to -225F.
Elon specifically has this dream of colonizing mars, but it seems unrealistic. Perhaps in the future there could be an outpost where humans can visit for extended periods of time, but living there forever seems kind of sucky.
It's this kind of stuff that makes one think space is fake and gay. That is to say, human space exploration, not observable celestial phenomenon
Do you believe mars is what mainstream science claims it to be? Basically a red rocky sphere, 4th in orbit from the sun, with very little atmosphere. If so, can you show me some evidence that is true?
Cause I can't say what Mars is for sure, other than a local small luminary in our sky the makes a circuit independent of other stars.
No I have no idea what the atmosphere of Mars is I only know what I've actually seen in the sky
Ya have you seen a red spherical rock roughly the size and distance that Nasa claims? What details do you see?
I also don't know the size, distance, or texture, but yes I've seen a reddish sphere in the sky
They want us to think that in the future we live in space (they predicted it at the end of the 20th century where optimism is at its most high). In reality, in the future we live in Gulags.
GU (to guard) LAG (lager; to keep)...keeping doesn't guard one within motion; resisting to hold onto temptations guards growth of resistance from loss through motion.
If one can only exist "now"; then when will one ever reach the future? What does past; present and future of "now" represents other than ones ignorance of perceivable for suggested?
They're "wandering" stars, because they don't remain fixed in their positions like all the others. [About ungodly people] "They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever." Jude 13 Earlier in the book, in verse 6, it says "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling", which I think is a parallel. The planets rebelled against their position, and judgement is waiting for them. It's also interesting to note that astrology makes idols out of planets, saying they have influence over people and our behavior.
"Flat earth is a psyop" is their latest campaign, trying to appeal to people's egos. Yet again. First you had to be a troglodyte to believe in flat earth, now you've fallen for the psyop. It's pretty clever, I have to give them that.
why think we're not already there? there's every reason to think there's at least one breakaway civ, if not 2.
If they could charge us for the air to breath, they would do it. But I doubt there is many places in the universe like earth. I doubt they could find another paradise so quick.
I dont understand the need to keep a big secret if that were the case. With that being said, there is definitely enough money missing from the budget to have a few mars colonys. I dont see the elite living in places like the moon/mars, when they got somewhere like bermuda. And plenty of subjects to subject to their will.
No point in being the elite if you cant use people for whatever you want.
The biggest problem with living in space and on mars or the moon is the high radiation levels. Ultimately living in space is for machines.
For me, I live on a boat and explore the worlds oceans and coasts. It is a wonderful adventure.
Although it s a bit extreme, we need to start developing alternative places to continue humanity in case the Earth becomes uninhabitable (whether by our fault or by acts of nature).
Although frankly, I am not sure mankind should be saved. Organic life might be just a step to higher things, and possibly around the universe has only been a stepping stone to more rational machine life.
Really? Why wouldnt you want to go to mars?
When I was literally 10 years old, and in health class. We learned about "responsible decisions". We of course had to write a fictional setting and explain why we choose what we do.
You know what mine was? My teacher told me I was the only one who used this scenario.
If I had a chance to go to mars, would I?
Fuck yea, I would. Sure death could be waiting for you even leaving the pad, but think of what it would be like.
To be the first people to see the planet with their own eyes, to hammer out their own home away from everyone and everything else. Honestly, nothing would make me happier.
Im so tired of this planet, this society is fucked. When the covid scandemic happened, i woulda rode a rocket to the sun prolly. I cant trust the government again, it doesnt matter who it is. Not after what happened to me. I wasnt about to take a leaky vaccine for a .0001% of death. Id rather die than get irregular hearbeat again if im being honest, that shit is so fucking terrible. The worst of it is when someone looks at you, they have no idea your literally fucking dying. And no one cares.
I remember I told someone in the halifax reddit during this time, put me on a fucking rocket to mars, ill take a 100 vaccines, im tired of this bulllshit. And next week some jackass says.
Im so tired of antivaxxers and I wish I could just ride a rocket to mars.
Like shut the fuck up bitch, your scared of someone's personal decision, and you think your gonna ride a fucking rocket to mars to inevitable death. Yeah what the fuck ever.
Ive since learned, they will never let people like me go. To much risk of something like the appalachia republic.
Also funny random story, it was that same class that ive only heard in real life about being born with a veil.
When the teacher asked if anyone in the class was born with one, as soon as I was about to raise my hand my class mate yells out. Yeah thats how you end up retarded.
Yea, their not wrong, I also wasnt going to prove them right. Ive never heard someone talk about it since.
Also, maybe my feelings are spurred by the hundreds of years that my family spent on the continent trying to live in peace with the natives. The pioneer spirit runs in my blood. So maybe thats why I feel like I do.
But think about it, this world can only sustain so many people, and we are quickly approaching that point.
Whats the choice? Forcing everyone to sterilize themselves, or escaping to space.
And before some wise ass says, but theres plenty of space for everyone. And while that is technically true. We need more biomass than just human bodys on this planet, its all in balance and we are destroying that, if we dont do what must be done, nature is going to do it for us.
But of course none of this matters if planet 9 is coming back to reset the earth, like something has done many times in the past. The great regurgitator i think chan says.
Kind of attempt to evade Earth authorities, at least in dreams.
I think there are decent amount of people who will choose to live in tough conditions but out of the reach of any Earth authorities.
However, I think Mars is a bad idea, dead end. There are billions of much more comfortable planets in our galaxy. It is much easier to get rid of Einstein sect and work out FTL, than to make life on Mars more or less acceptable. :)
People are selling a dream. Simple as that. No serious person thinks it is on the verge of happening.
Just as Leonardo Divinci believed one day technology would allow flying through the air. It wouldn't be in his lifetime though.
LOL. Ok fed.
If you think any and all space travel is impossible I'm not going to waste my time on this dead end. It provides no benefit even if it were true.
a) old mythology (god of war); new mythology (planet); alchemy (iron); etymology (strength).
b) reasoning keeps ones mind within a state of war; reasoning over suggested (planet); while ignoring perceivable (plane), gives others the power to alchemically alter ones strength for their purposes.
c) iron can be smelted if hot...consenting to get agitated by suggestions increases ones heat.

i think l could live on antartica, except for the machine gunners up there
