I think my theory covers this to a certain extent. If their goal is to weaken the military so it loses against other armies, then the veterans in society don't matter. As long as they're not in the military, then the foreign adversary will be able to defeat America everywhere it has a presence, before coming to our shores to finish us off.
Until they defeat 2A and turn every state into Illinois/California that will literally never happen. We will be starved out before they ever step foot on our soil. The supply chain is their attack vector. Not boots on the ground lol.
