and took everyone by surprise. How the fuck did it take anyone by surprise?

It didn’t. Stop believing what the media tells you.

How are rich (not wealthy, but rich) people not realizing the system is being burned to the ground because it cannot go on anymore?

Because they’re the ones doing the burning and they already have all their assets in investments that won’t be losing anything when it happens.

Depends on "everyone" I think. Lots of people were genuinely surprised, because they believe that fed rate increases and a weaker economy means, you know, less inflation right?

The market reacted as expected, taking a dive. Market's are like that.

Markets are rigged in that insiders know shit is gonna happen before random stock broker XYZ. But, sometimes they are caught by surprise too.

Fake money? The world took a long time to get over the gold standard, from WWI's inflation to Nixon finally ending convertibility in 1971. It was a slow process, it's not like it happened all at once, and people in their 40s today know no other way that fiat and crypto and grandpa's coin collection. You get used to it.

Democracy a sham? Has been since Athens. The 1960 election was stolen, and everyone knew it, when Chicago dumped thousands of votes at 3am to give JFK the win. The Founders set up a republic, not a democracy. They read about how the Roman Republic went gonzo before Caesar took over. The problem is we expanded the vote to women and such.

Anyway, same as it ever was. Read your Bible and your history books, things have always been like this. The little side jaunt of post WWII peace and prosperity was never gonna last.

Kind of like how the 1% knew BTC was going down to 20k and left everyone else holding the bag, getting out before it crashed.

All I knew to do was get all the physical silver I could with the little pocket change I had, along with enough supplies and food where I can at least be somewhat comfortable during the free fall.

The primary problem I would say, is we trusted those pushing feminism in the first place, also Babylonian financial alchemy usury, the group the Bible warns about as they turned to hermetic-kabbalist Satanic talmudism after the temple was destroyed, openly displaying the Amos 5:26/Acts 7:43 hexagram of Saturn/Moloch.

The early church all warned what their plans were, we should have never trusted them to take control over our medicine.

Yet most Evangelicals in America are brainwashed Scofield Bible Zionists who will likely attack the true church in the end times.

It's frustrating being categorized as a bad person for all of this, I genuinely wanted to help warn everyone I cared about.

Many of the Founders were Freemasons, but the Republic they set up wasn't a sham, it was meant to keep them at the top of the social hierarchy.

How do people not sense this amount of danger?

They can't put 2 and 2 together. All they do is go by what their cell phone and main stream media tells them. They figure as long as they have that mask on, they'll be ok.

I am picturing the dog in the burning house meme where it’s saying “This is fine”. People are fucking oblivious AND stupid, a deadly combination.

Jeez! I know right? It feels really shitty to be in the "conspiracy cult" or whatever, but ill choose that over being a 9-5 normie any day of the week. Im just not made for that type of obedience.

I feel that it is that strong, because the ability to control mental processing has been fine tuned for thousands of years.

I think we are perpetuating an old model and this is the reason for all the bullshit and deceit because it is corrupted. The plan is working the majority of people are like frogs in a pot.

How are we - a few dozen on boards like this - immune to the mental processing or propaganda that succeeds against hundreds of millions?

I would not say immune, but basically I have the opinion that some personality combinations are highly resistant as measured in skeptics for example.

How can their normalcy bias be that strong?

They’re simply lying to your face. They knew. They always knew. They’re the ones who caused it to happen, purposely. “Wow, no one could have seen this coming! Oh, those trades I made three months back? Eh, it was just on a whim…”

With the sheer, repeated incidence of insider trading by, for example, the US Congress, why would you think that the people responsible for the collapse of Western civilization don’t know what’s going on?

Im talking about all the normie tards that have no sense of impending doom

Oh! That’s just human nature. It’s utterly horrifying once you fully grasp the extent of it. You’ve heard of the “meme” of NPCs, right? The claim that a significant proportion of the population literally is not sapient and does not exhibit the traits which we view as being innate to “the human race.” It’s true, in so many words. The vast majority of people do not think in the abstract. They don’t have independent thoughts. They don’t have any cognition whatsoever other than stimulus-response behaviors to their immediate surroundings and external stimuli. They do not introspect. They do not retrospect. They just parrot what they hear and can be easily tricked into acting a certain way based on very specific manipulation of their emotional responses.

Yeah. That’s just how things are and always have been. “Great Man Theory” is pretty close to reality.

We're all fucked. It's good to remember this. George Carlin.

George knew it so long ago.

Almost prophetic.

We not a real society (race, people), but something analogous to a headless corpse being keep alive in a surrogate of drugs and mass media. Just like in any organism, only a small minority of people in any society act as the sensors and coordinators, and they have been (and are still being) systematically ostracized and neutralized.

What do I do about it? I have a job, a kid etc. Protesting does nothing. Posting online does nothing.

It's time we realize it's already over. We just haven't realized it yet

Your. Realization. Better late than never.

Some have known it'd be over soon a long time ago.

Still blows...

Idk you can do a psychological deep dive into the cliche about good times / weak men / hard times / strong men.

People who are used to adversity psychologically adapt to it, and as a result they are less risk adverse and more capable of handling otherwise stressful situations.

Look at how people who grew up in the hood can drive through the hood at night like it's nothing. Now picture your average upper middle class suburbanite needing to drive through the hood and their ensuing anxiety attack.

As another example impoverished people in the appalachians don't freak out over missing teeth, it's a part of life, getting teeth pulled with no replacement as they age. Now again imagine your average upper middle class suburbanite losing a front tooth and being told they just have to live with the gap. They would be painfully mortified and also absolutely devastated, like they lost a limb.

Point is most people are not necessarily too stupid to understand reality, they just can't handle facing it because they've lived relatively pampered lives and are psychologically fragile as a result. Only the extreme outliers with the genetics for high psychological resilience are exceptions.

Thus good times = weak men.

idk how people are blind too it, but trauma reactions, stockholm syndrome, all very real, and tptb study psychology, take market surveys, societal temperature, and manipulate on a real-time basis. that's the real trauma based mind control. it is interesting and kind of hilarious to hear normal people waking up.
