Why do they use symbols and ideas from ancient Egypt? Obelisks, Isis, Horus, etc?
Is this an unbroken lineage/ideology that has lasted since those times?
Wtf is really going on?

I hate to do this but (holds up hands)…. “Aliens”
Pretty much in any ancient culture or religion when they talk about small-g “gods”. what they are really talking about are extraterrestrial corporeal or non-corporeal beings.
Demons, not aliens.
Some entities are “non-corporeal beings”. That word means they don’t have bodies the same way we do. Some of them may be multi-dimensional beings able to phase into or out of our dimension. If you want to label those entities as demons or ghosts, etc., fine.
Just be aware that along with these non corporeal entities, it is very likely that there are alien entities from other stars that are similar to us in that they have bodies and exist in our three-dimensional universe.
In the universe of infinite possibilities, it is possible that all these beings exist simultaneously. If you believe in a God that only created earth and only pays attention to humans, that’s pretty pathetic. The GOD that I believe in is the creator and master of the entire universe and every being in it.
That's a biblical label. Generic and vague. At best. Affixing a word to the unexplainable and indescribable.
Whereas, E.T.'s are written about in real terms in many ancient civilizations.
The Bible. Per Rev 11:8, the seat of the beast is in the great city known as Sodome and Egypt, a city that is also a nation, identified as the Vatican. Roman Catholic Church always been paganised version of Christianity, which is the one the rulers of this world has been made to bow down to. Pharaoh and Pope is the same thing. A obelisk is placed in the middle of the Vatican.
If anyone wonder why the Pope today is not as powerful as the Pharaoh, the Bible prophecised that the beast would receive a deadly wound. One it received by Napoleon, who stripped the Pope of his powers, and imprisoned the Papacy. It was not until Mussolini that the Pope was given his powers back, his wound begiende to be healed. Today even Trump visited the Pope at the Vatican, when he was President.
The Hebrews spent 400 years under the rule of the Egypt, and that is where we been placed today. When the Jews rejected Christ as their king, and declared Caesar as their king instead, Egypt (and Sodome) was cemented as our ruler, again. Roman Empire never fell, it just changed, split into two: East Roman Empire, known as the Byzantine, which ended when Constantinople fell. And west Roman Empire, known as Holy Roman Empire, which stand even to this day.
That be some of the connection, that I know of. There been Popes in the past, who declared themselves as Cesar, but that been before they received the deadly wound. In Paganised Christianity, worship of Mary, the mother of Christ, taken over for worship of Isis.
It's helpful to understand what these symbols mean.
Research who Michael Aquinas is and the temple of set which is a much much more hardcore version of the church of satan.
There's plenty of Egyptian deities with horns in their depictions. If horns represent "temporal power", that correlates with Saturn/Satan.
Because they are nostalgists, obsessed with tradition, the “old guard”, and the old hierarchies. Basically the same reason that fraternities use/worship ancient greek.
It’s highly unlikely. It’s probably a “resurgence” / “reappropriation” at some point in the past (perhaps even several centuries ago) like the modern day druids. Occult cosplay.
As general as possible - i suspect it all to be a test. More specifically it is a group of callous, ignorant [evil] slavers mindlessly enslaving their own kind for shortsighted perceived (but not actual) personal gain.
well, part of the reason is the Corpus Hermeticum, its much older than places like wikipedia tell you, it is likely ancient, there was a book written in the 1800s that went over the claims that its modern but still the accepted version is that its only from the 1700s
"hear me pomander and i shall make you the fisher of men"
its basically the original book of tricks for secret societies
We wuz kangz
“Aliens wuz Kangs”
Masons.
No but that would e cool
No really, it's the masons.
The parasitic few suggest ancient (old) and recent (new) to disconnect the ignorant many from the perceivable now; the ever changing moment; the momentum of motion causing temporary choice at its center.
a) temporary living within the ongoing process of dying represents being the broken parts within the unbroken whole aka the perceiving (with the broken comprehension) within all perceivable (unbroken flow of inspiration).
b) IDE'A, noun - "to see" represents perceivable inspiration; idealism represents suggested information shaping the ideology of those consenting to it. The few suggest idealism to tempt the many to ignore lineage.
All that is represents the accumulation of all that was and the potential for all that will be. The rhetoric of "first" and "last" is suggested to tempt one to ignore being in-between (life) first (inception) and last (death). Why? To tempt those consenting to ignore the connection aka the ongoing flow (inception towards death) which shapes temporary form (life).
EN'ERGY, noun [Gr. work.] - "internal or inherent power"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytTqmOANYJc
"I am standing on a hill" (growth potential)
"And beyond the clouds" (inspiration perceived)
"The wind is blowing still" (ongoing motion)
"And catching my doubts" (the temptation to hold onto)
"A neverending dream, a dream of you" (temporary within ongoing)
"I believe I receive a sign of you" (tempted by suggestion within perceivable inspiration).
And it's still going on... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfrAJFaUkpk
Ancient Egypt became very popular in the 19th century after Napoleon's campaign there. When modern archaeology got going, Egyptian-style fashion, jewelry etc. became very fashionable.
Add to that, Egypt is really easy to reach from Europe but was considered to be very exotic at the same time.
That's pretty much the reason. Sometimes, these things have very mundane origins.
