Reddit has a huge hardon for the number 100k. There are a ton of empty "pro narrative" subs like /r/esist that magically have ~100k subscribers but hardly any posts/comments and the "users online right now" count always was way below the more organic and more fun subs. These numbers are all gamed to hell and done to fraudulently sell advertisements and/or create an illusion of group consensus.
It's obvious because they're so awful at making the numbers look consistent. They'll fuck with the subscriber count and vote totals, but not with the online count and they can't possibly keep up with the actual submission/comments to make it look nearly as active as the sub count suggests.
Company ownership has a right to know not only the current status of a company, but to also look back to see what was happening in the past. What you are seeing is the Deep State erasing evidence of its involvement in Twitter manipulation before Elon Musk can get a chance to look.
Same reason how "mistakes" and "errors" only usually happens to non leftist accounts lol. Similar to how ron paul was the only candidate that seem to get audio issues every other interview lol.
They need to go after publicists like Sunshine Sachs who use bot farms to inflate likes and shit for celebrities they represent. It’s systemic.
One area I follow is how Sachs uses bots to artificially create the impression that Meghan Markle and Harry are beloved, here and in the UK.

According to an article over at Zerohedge, a policy had to be put in place to ban all changes to the platform in the wake of Musk taking over, unless they are critical to the platform's performance. They don't want any sabotage.
