Women have strong maternal instinct. Even if woman don't have children, she still have that strong and basic instinct. And the first thing that instinct tell the woman is "do everything for safety, your and your (potential) child".
So, if half of top managers are woman, it is extremely easy to manipulate them using this basic instinct that force any woman to look for safety. So, just say that narrative you push is for safety, and women will support it instinctively.
Yes, some women have enough brains to see manipulation, think independently and have free will to override instincts. But that kind of woman is most hated by all possible colours of feminists and and in no case will be invited to take one of that "diversity" vacancies.

I have had a terrible experience today I am suing one who became a complete psycho. Completely unprofessional away from her duty of care and she did it intentionally. I won't get into it. This person you wouldn't trust with a baby let alone her medical profession after that episode. I am now throwing everything at her practice.
But many of those women are like that, utterly horrible and just mean. In compared to a man what you see is what you get; Face value, of course they lie, and rage, but unlike menopausal women that are inhumane.
Because they're women they demand protection. Or the charade that they can commit bloody murder and the presumption is the male is always that fault.
Younger women can often be much nicer. But they aren't often in those positions. Depends on the type of position. Power corrupts. They turn it into a powerplay. It causes depravity. And women are no strangers to real evil, like men, but sometimes unexpectedly.
However you're arguing why the sudden empowerment. Fraud. Manipulation. Acting. The weaker touch plays ball, but often is more vicious and heavy handed to make up for its weakness.
It obviously depends on the woman. But in experience they are mean in any position of dominance and authority. Even in neutral jobs.

I think neuroticism is pushed into women. IDK, may be my female friends are not a good statistical stratum, but I don't see neuroticism prevailing in them. Men even more often react to the occasional stresses neurotically. Say, if somebody burn itself of barbecue grill, it is more probably that it will be a man who will react more intensively, with swearing or even aggression toward the grill. And with high probability it will be a woman who will take care about burned person. Moreover, hysteria and neuroticism are against maternal instinct. To save the child, mother definitely should not fall into hysteria. I think en masse it is mostly learned behaviour, than something genetic.
