Hey guys. First post here. I'm from PW. We had a pretty heated discussion about Sandy hook and was I was just wondering what your stances were. I haven't seen a post get that much traction in a while.

Here's a link to the OP if you guys are curious as to how that discussion went: https://patriots.win/p/12kFZA3794/sandy-hook-school-resisting-subp/

As for me I believe Sandy Hook was a hoax.

That was obvious on day one.

You live thru enough of these you can spot them. This time. I underestimated the scope. The coof is the biggest hoax since ww2 and atom bombs.

Was about 19 when it happened. But I haven't trusted the government and media about anything since. Not that I trusted them much before. Every single mass shooting I've seen after Sandy Hook seemed to be a psy op.

Yes.

How about.

Nightly news.

"300 americans died last week in vietnam. 2000 vietcong dead. So. We're winning."

First jfk. And then martin. Then rfk. Then wallace.

Pretty obvious.

Why would you need or want to seal records of dead kids unless they didn't exist.

Their argument has always been that its too painful for the parents. Of course that doesn't work for us, but there are plenty suckers out there that believe propaganda that appeals to emotion.

If its too painful, why are they in court where they likely have to be on the stand about it?

Why would a gun manufacturer want school records? It sounds like they are planning on arguing there is no proof the victims were actually students at that school. That can't be what they plan to argue in court, can it?

Is there something more to the story that is not obvious?

Asking for records is called "discovery", thats how it always works.

Of course, but why attendance records unless they are considering arguing that there is insufficient evidence of the children existing.

At most they would need attendance records. The lawyers are asking for years worth or report cards and other bullshit for only a few of the teachers and students. It looks like lawyers trying to make money through work for other lawyers, as lawyers tend to do.

Can't believe everyone here is on the sides of scummy lawyers for a gun company. Pretty fucked.

This is a nuisance lawsuit that legally should have been barred by the PLCAA, except the "scummy lawyers" for the plaintiff made up a bullshit story that they can prove Remington deliberately marketed their guns to attract the shooter. (Doubly ridiculous as the shooter didn't buy the gun, but stole it fr his mom)

Firearm makers are the only business that a court would even consider holding responsible for the criminal misuse of their product, as the concept is laughable and it's only allowed at all because people like you think gun makers are evil.

I support Remington making it as painful and costly as possible for these plaintiffs, as that was their only reason for bringing suit against Remington.

I don't think the suit has any real merit, I can understand though why the parents would be upset.

I also know lawyers for huge corporations are fucking dickheads.

I never thought twice about the official narrative about Sandy Hook, until seeing the families want those records sealed.

One would think they would want the records in court to prove their case.

If given some time to delay, they could always forge documents to prove their case either. When you have the full force of government, media, judges, etc. behind you, it shouldn't be much trouble at all.

The elite think they are the saviour of our planet. And manipulate people through lies to start wars, vaccines to depopulate.

But constantly try to create hoaxes because they want to ban firearms. They are scared of being killed, funny how that works.

It's okay that we are sacrificed, but not them.

Here is a link to all the evidence of the crime scene. Anything that would prove that people have actually died have been redacted or nonexistent:

https://cspsandyhookreport.ct.gov/

The defense for not releasing proof to the public as I have stated before is that it would be too painful for the parents. They have illegally blocked all attempts on information of the victims going against FOIA and public records and in 2014 CT passed a law to make it illegal to be given out.

Remington's lawyers are being dicks for the lawyer of it, in my opinion, whether you agree with the case or not.

https://www.newstimes.com/local/article/A-gun-maker-was-ordered-to-hand-over-documents-to-16296757.php?_ga=2.265478031.1053804613.1630980978-583500677.1630980978

In the volume of pretrial data turned over by bankrupted Remington to nine Sandy Hook families suing for wrongful marketing, lawyers said they found 18,000 random cartoons and 15,000 irrelevant pictures of people go-karting and dirt-biking.

I've seen discovery requests. They typically say "responsive documents include, but are not limited to, any and all emails, calender entries, notes, etc, etc. related to Subject X". And then they want a log of everything you exclude with identifying details of the document and the reason it was excluded.

Now, you can sort through all of your employees emails and log all the irrelevant ones and then risk the other side complaining that you withheld something relevant, or you can do a dump of everything and let them sort it out. It's more defensible and a hell of a lot easier to do the latter- remember, you don't get reimbursed for the time it takes responding to the other side's discovery requests.
