If you ask an employee if they have been seen for substance abuse and they say no, you can't then demand proof. When I tell my boss I have a doctors appointment, they never ask what for, because I don't have to willingly give that information.
They can ask if you have been vaccinated. They cannot force you to share your PII with them. If anyone who is not certified to look at PII forces you to give them PII, sue them. If someone who is certified forces you to show that... stall, figure out some way to get the PII seen by someone whos not certified without you being the cause, then sue them.

I live in a red state. We’re totally open. No masks in grocery stores, post office or restaurants. Hell I went to the pharmacy last weekend. No masks anywhere in a place where sick people go every day of the year. But it’s also a right to work state. They can pretty much fire you for any reason. I believe others have said they will call the masks PPE and axe you for not wearing required PPE.
My job is basically covering for people on vacation or sick. I do all the jobs in the plant. I’ve covered for you guessed it… people with COVID and one’s that just wanted a week and a half off so said they might have been exposed and just wanted some free vacation while test results came back.
Now I have to update my resume. The guy who never missed a day of work during this. If their pushing this hard on a guy who’s in the over 99% chances of survival bracket I’m not taking shit. They can get fucked. I fear tho since there’s never any repercussions they will eventually make it so we can’t work anywhere.

I now personally know 3... THREE people who have had a life-altering side effect since getting the vax, and all seem to have happened at the 10-20 day mark post-jab.
The first had a stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain. 68 years old, but with no major medical issues beforehand. She is nonverbal and can't walk now and will probably never recover... she spent 3 weeks in the hospital and rehab and she just stares into nothing. She is slowly recovering, but I don't think she will ever be the same. I see the look in here eyes, and it is of someone who wishes they had died instead. She took Pfizer.
The second was 31 years old and in extremely good health/fitness. He has to travel overseas for work so he took it, and had trouble breathing one night that got worse and worse. He finally went to the ER and they determined he had had a "mild" heart attack. He has never had any medical issues in his life. this guy was a hardcore road bike racer, and now he gets winded walking in his yard. He took J&J.
The third just happened last Friday. A co-workers daughter, who is in her early 20's is currently in ICU after having a massive stroke. I am heartbroken for him, as he tried to tell her not to get the vax, but she did anyway. I haven't heard an update today, but it does not look good. EDIT: I am not sure what she took, but it was her second shot that did it, so it was Pfizer or Moderna.
I have heard many reports of pharmacies filling out the card first, and then sending you over to get the shot. Maybe do a little recon and if you see this, just walk out after you get the card. Maybe act like you need to grab something from your car.
HIPAA says they cant ask for proof. Talk to HR, be sure to use the words "liability" and "potential lawsuits" a lot.

Look up covered entities when you get a chance. Unless you’re working in the health field, HIPAA almost certainly does not apply to your employer.
