The more I read up on it the less I'm convinced we actually put people on the moon. This is the article that swayed me from a believer to a skeptic. Great read if you have a couple hours to spare (centerforaninformedamerica.com)

Now I'm not saying we never landed a spacecraft on the moon, I don't see any reason to not believe that however the claim that we put living breathing humans on the moon in the 60's and yet NO country has been able to replicate that in 50 years even with all out technological and material advancements is quite laughable if you think about it.

Besides the apollo missions no one has ever left low earth orbit. Ie no one else has gone through the van allen radiation belts.

I don't buy it,

  1. because of all the counter evidence showing how unlikely/impossible the different feats were
  2. there is massive incentive for another powerhouse country like China to put a man on the moon, all they do is dickwave. So that doesn't pass the BS test either.

Yes that's what I would suggest, reading the article I linked and also watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpuKu3F0BvY&t=37s

both present very convincing arguments

Screw all of the workers being okay with it, why wouldn't Russia say something? The PR coup of exposing an American lie on that scale during the vietnam war would've burned America to the ground.

Able, or Willing?

Ask yourself this one simple question. Of all the Astronauts that went around the moon, how many had kids?

  • radiation out there is brutal
  • sterilization is a side effect of radiation

Would you be surprised to know that there was a conspiracy of secrecy about the Moon landings. The they chose men who were already incapable of having children in the first place. But since this doesn't paint a very "heroic", or should I say "fertile", image it was kept secret.

Did you read the article???

*Able, according to modern NASA engineers they have to solve how to get through the Van Allen radiation belt if they're to send someone to the moon or mars. Why do they need to solve that? They did it with 60's technology.

Also according to those same people the radiation should be so strong with the lack of protection the old craft had that it would have killed the astronauts shortly after. Being sterile would be the least of their worries.

Have you ever looked at a picture of the lunar lander? It's literally put together with duct tape. You think that piece of junk adequately shielded astronauts from space debris and deadly amounts of radiation?

So you're saying they chose men who were sterile to cover the effects radiation would have so that their story is more believable?

I mean that wouldn't surprise me, I also wouldn't be surprised if the government sterilized them by force.

Right? have you seen photos of the moon lander? The thing is literally put together with duct tape and tin foil, how did no one question that?

Also the footage of the lander taking off from the moon is laughable, it looks nothing like an object being projected by rocket but looks like it's being pulled by strings

It would have looked believable when it came out back in the day and everyone had low def black and white TVs with screen noise but the HD stuff looks like it's straight out of a hollywood studio, everything is so pristine and shiny. I mean obviously I have no idea what I am talking about and am probably wrong but it just seems bogus, even the way they hop around doesn't look right.

These still crack me up every time, in fact, I've shown some non-conspiricists some pictures side by side: modern low orbit rockets and the Apollo thing. Weirdest thing is almost every one had the same chuckle on first sight, the contrast is so huge everyone gets this doesn't compare, and then within seconds the 'programming' visibly takes over ;)

I especially like to show people videos of NASA astronauts saying how we could go to Mars if only we could get past those pesky Van Allen radiation belts.

Humanity is already out there exploring the cosmos, it's just all being kept secret. There are bases on the Moon and Mars. The Moon is probably being covered by advanced holographic technology to to prevent those on Earth from seeing any of the human activity happening there.

There's a breakaway civilization coming to fruition, sort of like in the movie Elysium. I believe that The Great Reset is part of this plan.

This was a great documentary. Convinced me 95% that the moon landing was faked. It's by Massimo Mazzucco, also the creator of the documentary "September 11th: The New Pearl Harbor", which was also a great one. The evidence is so well presented.

There was a 'side show' if things went sideways.

Lots of aliens on the moon. The 'lost' apollo tapes were public domain at one point. You can hear the astronauts are scared. 'Code words' dropped a lot to let nasa know. Nasa asked them if they wanted to abort, but the astronauts had balls.

Those astronauts are the real deal people. But National security says no disclosure. Sry.

No blast crater under the LEM (lander) in all the pictures was the smoking gun for me. You would see erosion and a small crater as a result of the rocket used to slow the LEM on the decent if the landings were real.

Have a family member who is Japanese and worked in some lower levels of government there. They said a large percentage of Japanese didn't believe it was real because the cameras were from Japanese companies and they knew they couldn't withstand the radiation levels. Also something about the moon rock samples they got being terrestrial in nature. Anecdotal, but interesting.

Lol yep that is fact, I think it was the Americas who gifted the dutch (not sure of the country) a "moon" rock and it turned out to be petrified wood.

Also totally on the camera gear, not to mention the unbelievable temperature changes they had to withstand, or the fact that the astronauts couldn't see what the camera was focusing on yet they got these crystal clear shots.

Correct, J. William Middendorf II, USA Ambassador, gave it to Dutch Minister of State Willem Drees Sr.

Also a lot of activity on Antarctica before the moon missions. Makes me wonder if there are Mars stones to be found there, too? IIRC there were some pictures of Antarctica in a Wikileaks file in 2016 around the time John Kerry went there on a trip.

Took me a while to overcome years of programming by the school system and media, but the more I looked into it, the more I became convinced nobody has ever been beyond the Van Allen belts. As a geologist, the rocks show weathering that is impossible without water and an atmosphere. The geology is from earth. As an engineer, the NASA photo of the lunar lander is clearly a poorly made movie prop, and there are too many impossibilities in the whole scenario of launching from the moon and docking with the orbiting craft. There are many good documentaries listing all the other common issues, lack of blast crater, photos, etc. Even the Mythbusters episode failed to prove anyone went there. Once you realise 9/11, Covid, WMDs, babies in incubators, global warming are all fake and staged, it gets easier to accept that the moon landing was too. BTW, Kubrick shot 2001 during the day and Apollo in the evenings with a skeleton crew. The monolith in 2001 is representative of the movie screen. He was saying it was all just a movie. This guy does a good video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSo6s_xrj4c

I started skimmimg about halfway through, but one item I noticed was his comparison of the distance through space to the moon being so much farther than what we currently accomplish with contemporary launch vehicles.

His argument was asking how we could send a vehicle through thousands of miles of space in the 60s when we can only do a few hundred in 2020.

This argument is entirely naive of the concept of gravity wells and that the initial push away from a planet is the most difficult (energy intensive).

– Scroon 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Ok. I mean believability is subjective, so while it seems reasonable to me, it might not to you.

But remember that acceleration due to gravity drops off as an inverse square from the center of the Earth. So it gets much, much easier to push away from Earth the farther out you get.

And moving more than 500 mi from Earth isn't because of a hard energetic limit. It's because nobody's wanted to sink the money into a modern manned moon mission.

Other countries have sent probes to the moon, so it's been proven physically possible by other parties. Unless those are hoaxes too?

Congrats on dismantling one paragraph of hundreds when stripped of all context. Read the entire thing and if your takeaway is still “I know more about the moon landing than this guy” you ain’t it son.

– Scroon 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Not saying "I know more", but I've looked through a lot of the article now, and the gut knows history but not physics. For example, in the second installment, he takes issue with the heating cooling system in the LEM. First, you don't need a heater. The LEM was like a thermos bottle in near vacuum. Body and equipment heat would have been enough. Second, cooling was supposedly accomplished through water sublimation. Pump water to some external plates and it sublimates away taking heat with it. I'm not saying NASA couldn't lie about it, but you can't use it as proof that LEM temp control was impossible as the author does.

Nasa - to deceive

Once again you're taking things and stripping them of all context. The LEM wouldn't need a heater? lmfao? you would go to space without a way to generate heat on the assumption that "well my car is like a thermos so I'll never NOT be hot.

idk bro questionable. Have you watched American Moon?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Scroon 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

I'm open to NASA being a bunch of liars, and I do think there's evidence that something weird went on with the Apollo missions. I'm just saying that guy's arguments are questionable.

Your comparison of a car acting like a Thermos is a perfect example of scientific misunderstanding. A car is not like a Thermos because we have an atmosphere on Earth, so convection from the air quickly equalizes the temperature inside and out.

But in thevarticle, the author is assuming the LEM behaves like a car on Earth even though the moon had no atmosphere. This is why the LEM behaves differently from a car on Earth.

Haven't seen American Moon, but I've watched a bunch of moon hoax docs. Honestly, most of my personal doubt comes from that post-return presser where the astronauts are acting really weird.
