I think that is a new concept.

I have seen Click & Collect for retail food stores at train stations - order in the morning, collect on the way home.

It kind of makes sense as it reduces the "last mile problem" which Uber Eats & Deliveroo type services try to solve. If deliveries to the Collection Point can be consolidated that reduces costs (& carbon footprint if you care about that).

Not that I think it is a great idea overall. Outsourcing all of your cooking is weird to me, restaurant & take-away food is usually high calorie (lots of fat) and going to the restaurant is for the event not the just the food.

You can even rent them fully fitted

Didn't know about whatever it is you were in. Is it just a collection point?

And remember, Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein didn't have a Chinese Spy in her office, if you look at her husbands business partnerships with Chinese, you'd think she was the Chinese spy.

And then Swalwell's Honeytrap. You think she was the only one?

First thing I did when Russian oil sanctions hit was buy oil stocks.

They did peak at 12% up but now all sit around +%6

I collated the data from the ONS for England / Wales as mentioned in the Post but I used all the data (back to 2010), not just the last 5 years

Here's the chart of "No. of Standard Deviations from the Mean" (2022 is the dashed line) for the first 20 weeks of each year.

Interactive

As Png

2022 has only one week above 1 standard deviation at 1.6

2018 had three weeks at 2.4, 2.6 & 2.4 standard deviations respectively.

I don't think URGENT is quite warranted (and what urgent action can I do about it anyway!)

How could A Big Israel ever claim such a thing!

I have a feeling Russell thinks Fascism is "Government that does bad things".

Two days later

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/06/03/feeling-super-bad-about-economy-musk-wants-to-cut-10percent-of-tesla-jobs.html

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has a “super bad feeling” about the economy and needs to cut about 10% of jobs at the electric carmaker, he said in an email to executives seen by Reuters.

The message, sent on Thursday and titled “pause all hiring worldwide”, came two days after the billionaire told staff to return to the workplace or leave, and adds to a growing chorus of warnings from business leaders about the risks of recession.

Orwell said this in 1946

The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies ‘something not desirable’. The words democracy, socialism, freedom, patriotic, realistic, justice have each of them several different meanings which cannot be reconciled with one another. In the case of a word like democracy, not only is there no agreed definition, but the attempt to make one is resisted from all sides. It is almost universally felt that when we call a country democratic we are praising it: consequently the defenders of every kind of regime claim that it is a democracy, and fear that they might have to stop using that word if it were tied down to any one meaning.

Still using "fascist".

It is not a persuasive word. Not to the left, not to the right. It is a totally worn out cliché. It's what teenagers call the hall monitor.
