So far, none of the 44 trans people recorded as being murdered in the USA this year were killed because of their gender identity. In fact, most were murdered by male intimate partners. In the UK, no murders of trans people have been recorded in 2021.
Which part indicates if you think "intimate partner" in intended to mean someone in a committed relationship or a one-night stand? It's relevant because your argument is that these murders happened because the intimate partners were deceived and then killed the transgendered victims in retaliation. That would be a difficult lie to perpetuate into a relationship, so I was wondering if you thought the term included first-time hookups. Otherwise, it doesn't sound plausible.
