The French used to have laws that a certain % of media on the TV and radio had to be French. They wanted to preserve their language and culture. Then globalist politicians came along with mass migration to wipe all that out.
Most oil fields follow a very predictable bell curve. The shape of that curve can be changed with modern technology, such as horizontal wells and water injection etc. But they still deplete. If they magically just refilled no one would bother spending billions every year drilling new wells.
The problem is supermarkets are so aggressive with their pricing, and are slow to raise prices. There will be some farmers out there that bought significant amounts of say chicken food on the old lower prices that are still able to make a profit with the current prices, but this is a temporary situation at best. Supplying a supermarket with anything is not a business I would like to be in.
