I wonder if @Seededfury's response to Woods' "oMg PuRgE tHe AnTiSeMiTeS!!" tweet earlier might have had something to do with it.

See here...

"Israel" is the premier "apartheid state". It embodies every attitude and behavior that its Diaspora Cheering-Section abhors in "our" captive media, to the point that those sentiments are all but illegal in much of the "West":

  1. Closed Borders and walls: Israel OK; everyplace else "xenophobia!"
  2. Rabid Ethno-Nationalism: Israel OK; everyplace else "OMG! Fascism!! Supremacists!!!"

Israel maintains "Purity of Blood" as official government policy.

"Billionaires" and their 'pRiVaTe CoMpAnIeS'.

Government is just fine with the way pRiVaTe CoMpAnIes perform with the "public's" internet. Look at all the valuable services Google/YT, Facebook/Instagram and Twitter perform:

  1. Acts as the premier data-vacuum and honey-pot to attract (and compile data on) 'troublemakers'.
  2. Performs Ministry-of-Truth thought-shaping, gatekeeping/filtering and propaganda-dissemination while immune from pesky Constitutional accountability.
  3. Now with more "Memory-Holes®" to 'keep us safe'.
  4. Rouses the 'rabble' upon command to agitate for and accept / support the whole CancelCulture™ "Un-Personing" program.

Even if those functions weren't illegal and/or Unconstitutional, the government would spend ten times as much to produce one-tenth the effects.

Time-machine fans: What if you could have gone back to the 1600s and deployed "the internet" during the Tulip Craze?

Here we see the future of "AI" in human society: Endless bias- and counter-bias-hand-massaging, resulting in Party-line GIGO that "miraculously confirms" the current-year's Narrative©.

The Future!® will be exactly like the past, except faster, more intrusive and un-critically accepted by more ignoramuses in politics, law and the 'professions'.

Get with the '[current-year] global supply chain', you Visigoths!

Organic (meaning: self-contained) supply sources are a blow to 'globalism'!": "They're 'xenophobic' or even "OMG!Nationalist!!"

Maintaining in-country stockpiles of critical items, in order to counter supply disruptions is a threat to "velocity of money" or some other bean-counter jargon.

"We must become interdependent to create the conditions for World Peace™."

One of the foremost constitutional theorists of the founding generation, John Adams, observed, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”1

He wasn’t the only Founding Father to hold this view. Indeed, James Madison wrote that our Constitution requires “sufficient virtue among men for self-government,” otherwise, “nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another.”2

Wait for the FTX bankruptcy to unwind, along with all the political ramifications it entails, not to mention the financial afterburn in the whole crypto market, very likely extending into and befouling the rest of the banking system.

The coming of the "Big Bang" in the form of the end of 'dollar hegemony' could sink the "Exceptional Nation".

That's an excellent 'homework project' for the amnesty-beggars.

Require them to bring evidence of "leadership contacts" to the next progress-interview. If they haven't 'progressed"...

Kids; you have a choice. You can get a worthless 'degree' and end up digging cabbages out of the dirt on Uncle Sam's "WPA-the Sequel" collective farm, or learn a trade and acquire a skill that'll keep you alive no matter how things 'accelerate'.

Sorry. Landlines have been on the way out since 2017, and are all but dead in many areas already.

Example: If you have "DSL" because you're in a non-metro area, your "land-line" is no more reliable than your shitty internet is, because it comes through the same wire, into the same box. BONUS: You also lose everything during power outages.

The only way to escape "smartphones" is to move to where there's no signal.

I like to remind European scolds of that event, because without their acquiescence, it never could have happened.

Euros (and the wealthier parts of Asia) have paid trillions in premiums for the 'privilege' of using "our" Petro-dollar™ to purchase energy for almost 50 years. All of which could have been avoided by foreclosing on the US the minute Nixon pulled that stunt.

"Our" British cousins have first-hand experience with what it means to have fallen off the top of that mountain: The British "Empire" decayed in 80 years from "sun never sets", to "GDP between Mississippi and Alabama", and is currently being colonized by denizens of its former colonies.

But everything moves faster now: I'll give us five years until 'we' lead at nothing.

The never-spanked, 'trophy-for participation' population of the US may behave very badly upon realizing that "we ain't #1".

Also, there's serious doubt whether the next "king of the hill" on that chart will be any mixture of "western", 'democratic' or "christian". At least the former top-dogs shown in the meme were largely structurally and culturally similar. No more.

The next "Boss-daddy" will almost certainly be from an old, hard culture with a long memory and plenty of grudges against the new "has-been".

digital currency

Is that the "decentralized store of value" that absolutely requires the government-monopoly internet to function?

What's the plan after Mark-o-the-Beast(tm) biometric log in is tied to your social credit score? You'll end up trying to schlepp your 'blockchain' between Barter-Towns on USB sticks.

I'd like to see the "UN" enforce this "ban" with its soldiers traveling on wind-powered wooden ships, wood-burning trains and horseback.

Because that's all the military a pre-fossil civilization supported before, and that's all the next non-fossil civilization will support then.

I'm betting it'll be a tax, ostensibly to "fund equitable cost-sharing between banks and CC-companies": It practice, the $$ will disappear into the General Fund and a do-nothing "regulatory panel" will hold endless, non-productive hearings.
