Not really, if you read the documents it’s mostly what looks like randos sending emails in to the FBI. Inter-agency communications is what would be valuable. This is a limited hangout of inconsequential information that should not be fetishized.

You said you couldn’t test the technology anymore. Literally my first sentence is affirming that it’s real technology. Everything else is directly relevant to the thread topic. I have no idea who shareblues is but throwing that around sounds a bit schizo.

It is real technology. I think that people take absolute approaches to thinking about surveillance though and that is where they are making a mistake. Surveillance is just the practice of monitoring a subject over time. There are inevitably going to be higher priority subjects that the state would like to devote their resources to monitoring. For the rest of the people living their lives in China (and the US) the passive collection and profit motivated data crunching from the private sector is what is doing the heavy lifting of analysis. The government is likely recording and archiving all of the source data to analyze if it becomes relevant, but they’re primarily focused on maybe a few thousand individuals for active surveillance at any given time. China is obviously going to be about an order of magnitude greater in number due to population count so the equation may be a bit different for them on surveillance strategy but not hugely.

Speaking Chinese doesn't make you a traitor. Encouraging the CCP to both take jobs and buy assets in your state is borderline. Stealing an election is treason.

I understand that nobody is being put on oxygen if they’re asymptomatic, but the number of asymptomatic cases is not what’s being reported everywhere. My understanding is that PCR amplifies viral RNA with a lower cycle count indicating a higher concentration. My understanding is also that there is a point at which PCR test results with binary values (true|false) can cause a hyperbolic response in individuals and organizations. My family members who have been tested have not been told how many cycles their sample went through but my understanding is that 30 - 40 is the standard for these tests. Hence, over-cycling is a concern for me.

It’s the over cycling of tests that is the most damning. Allows organization to make a wave of positive tests appear and disappear at Will.

Yeah, your argument definitely has merit. I haven’t personally experienced the banning behavior, but I can acknowledge that it is structured in a way that heavily encourages an echo chamber.

I’ve had people try to shout me down when I’ve questioned the validity of evidence as well, but stuck to my guns and not been banned. It’s possible that the rabid tribalism has been watered down by the influx of membership following the election. Regardless, more speech is always the solution. Thank you for being on .win!

I can understand your skepticism and welcome it because that is what prevents platforms and mods from exercising their power to censor.

By resistance I mean that a post contrary to the opinions of the board likely won’t get upvoted. Censorship by the platform would be that post being deleted entirely. I have seen accusations of “Rising” algorithm manipulation and am keeping an eye on it. If I can substantiate that I’ll call it out rigorously. Really what I’d like is an open sourced decentralized board software that is easy to spin up and has SSO. That would allow users to just move if mods become censorious.

TDW is most definitely not single-minded. There are tons of disagreements. Most participants are moving in the same direction, but in my experience it has not functioned as an unquestioning hive-mind. There are absolutely cucks who are devotees and are effectively in a cult of their own making. The platform facilitated that to some degree but I don’t believe that was the purpose of the platform. The community strongly enforces the rules of the community most of the time and I don’t see anything wrong with that as long as dissenting opinions that are well stated being excluded entirely is not a rule. It’s definitely a circle-jerk regularly, but not in all cases or even most cases.

They’ve just developed new tools. You’re not going to be alone in your endeavors. I recently located an individual targeting Latina minors while posing as a German in his mid 20s. I was able to get back to a physical address, employer, and tacit admission of guilt within about eight hours of research.

Sounds like you’ve pursued some form of traditional education in the field. I’ve spoken to PIs that are practicing actively recently and they’ve said that the majority of their work is for insurance companies and that is what those courses really prepare you for (and divorces). Has that been your experience? Asking because I do intend to get involved professionally (background in digital forensics).

Resistance is different than censorship by a platform.

Yup, I’ve seen the same there. Saw the same thing on Tumblr and MSN/AOL/IRC back in the day as well. Pedos are very aware of the need for platform redundancy and out of band communications with the subjects they’re grooming. A tactic I’ve observed with non-CP but very close to it is developing a dependent relationship between a shared account funded by multiple individuals who can present themselves as a wealthy patron helping a distressed minor poster out. Then that relationship is developed and escalated intentionally to the point that the groomed individual doesn’t realize that they’re down the rabbit hole. Once they’re technically legal that relationship and investment is leveraged maliciously. In the specific case I’m thinking of it was “send nudes with face or all our private chats are going to be sent to the deans at the colleges you applied to”. If the groomed individual caves which they did in this case then that information is just used to abuse them further. It’s a vicious and perverse cycle.

I’m always incredibly surprised the degree to which unverified accounts are able to post pornography. There has to be some pretty serious grooming going on of minors under the guise of “understand your sexuality by putting pictures of yourself on a public forum or sharing them with a rando who gave you money via DM”

Absolutely true. This is the value of not necessarily mandated freedom of speech but an expectation of it from a user base and a willingness to change platform if it’s not present.

Exactly, that’s the same reason many Democrats voted for Trump even if they hadn’t previously and/or didn’t see the good things that came from the administration. Purely based on a distrust of the shifting narratives of the left.

Wow, I hadn’t realize how bad Reddit had gotten in the last year. A conspiracy subreddit banning for talking about a conspiracy that HAS corroborating evidence and is PROVABLY being covered up. That’s insanity.
