I think this is an incorrect way to handle the situation and I kinda wanna say handle your own disputes but it turns out I'd be willing to help. I've followed the discussions and I need clarity on what you accuse as self promotion or whatever, I don't read that in their replies if you'd care to expand. As far as topic goes, it's a very interesting read and you've both presented info worth looking into and I do agree with a lot of what your opposition presented, though I'm having to look into some things. Perhaps I missed the beginning of the confrontation or something because I don't really see the big deal ( I see a disagreement and a sort of talking over eachother). It does seem like maybe you're losing your patience and perhaps that needs looking into also, forgive me if I'm out of bounds, a lot has been said and I just hope we can all try to learn from eachother, even if we don't agree, without losing our heads, ya know? I didn't bring up religion, Jesus coming to hang out on earth is about Him wanting a relationship, not just blind worship or traditional ceremony, which is what I imagine constitutes religion. With your premise I wonder how you would know anything about what is real or not unless you talk to God. I think I was made to question everything and talk to Him about it so I know how to function in a place I don't understand.

The first place that God deals with magicians is before the exodus, with Moses and the plagues, I think you should look into that but also God handles this issue of power all through the bible. Gideon asked for signs from God to be super sure about what was happening and God showed him (a few times) and then defeated a crazy huge army with Gideon and 300 guys. Elijah asked for God to rain down fire on the army against him and God did, that's not magic that's being the owner of the world. Really really a lot of interesting things this God Dude does even before Jesus. But Jesus also handled the magicians and tricksters and is able to do what no one else can and through His power is how His children are to be a blessing in the fallen world.

Do you even know what the jews were chosen for? They were charged with keeping God's commands and His ways active in the fallen world and yes many, many failed (and many didn't) but God still wins. He could have picked anyone but He picked them. Everybody lies in a fallen world it's Jesus that teaches us how to get better and stop sinning.

They are out there. It's a lot of wading through stuff sometimes but there are real Christians, everywhere, if you know how to look.

Christians worship Jesus Christ who is God in the flesh as a jewish man, worship of anything outside of God is the sin of idolatry.

Second, God is intimately involved in what it takes for any one person to understand what God needs them to, who are you to say how it should be done, you aren't God.
There is no other way, Jesus' sacrifice was the only option for reconcilliation. Blood is the business of life; it analyzes and guides nutrients and waste in blooded bodies, it transports oxygen and sugar to our brain and enrichment to our organs. For God to shed His blood to cover our own tainted blood is truly a supernatural special occurence, a divine dialysis.
