I'm curious to engage in this and have often thought about making a post where we collectively try to manifest something. (I thought about this BEFORE the post). maybe weather is too ambitious; however, what else could be objectively measured by strangers coming together to manifest an event?

I don't know what to make of this. is it better to have a president that is 'too authentic' and speaks his mind (with faults included) or better to have a corporate-washed president that only reads from a script not knowing where his is or what his stance on any policy is?

to argue the central bank should be free from democratic influences is slave talk. You should go one step further and just admit you desire the rulers of the country be free from democratic influences as in your previous comment (no politician wants to do difficult things on their watch).
It's nonsensical to argue that the central bank be free from democratic influences but the government not be. This amounts to civilization of slaves that are passively given the toy steering wheel to give the illusion of control (using the analogy lyn gives). The power contains within a central bank rivals the power of the government.
I wouldn't bet against them ever having a commercially viable product given the speed at which AI is advancing.
