This article is really just propaganda (as is the purpose of NPR). Summarization of article: There may be a surge. There is no evidence of a surge. Europe has increased infections. What happens in Europe doesn't effect USA. Computer models predict no surge. Get your booster.

Understand the financial system is complex and subject to supply and demand, but I'm astounded that there could be a dollar crisis, or liquidity crisis, when the US government just increased the money supply by 25%+.

I'm also astounded at how the dollar can exhibit such strength when the US government has printed so much money over the past few years.

Understand the printing doesn't occur in a vacuum, and this is all subject to other factors, bit nonetheless I'm amazed.

I'm confused over this decision. I believe the entertainment industry transitioned from profits to propaganda long ago. I don't understand why the industry would be shifting back to a profit motive....aside from they fear a complete exodus and thus their propaganda will be useless. I haven't heard of plasma cosmology. I enjoy considering these "more.exotic" theories but I concede that a lack of understanding doesn't mean ANY theory is possible. Scapegoat thinking is an interesting point. I often think these theories should be paired with the philosophical impact upon humanity
