Then it converted to queer stuff....because suddenly people who had all these mental issues suddenly were getting grouped online and echo chambers erupted.....they essentially made themselves identify with mental issues....
Then they called themselves a number of different things.....much like the gender stuff...and then a new catch all 'queer' 'non-binary' version was born.....neurodivergent....or neuroatypical

I would be happy to hear your analogy, but even with your twist, it still seems like the order of operations would be stop the new invasion (ie. Fuel thrown) and then put out the existing fire, then chase the guy down.
