Problem with prime is with just prime the actual library is pretty limited
You gotta get the subscriptions to the "channels" to see the shit you want to see most the time.
I finally dumped it all after I realized how much I was blowing
Think of it like Simpsons
It DID die a long time ago...but keeping the corpse dancing is too valuable to them, so the Weekend At Bernies act must go on. Just ignore the smell.
They're both just lifeless shells of what they used to be, propped up by the money of their owners.
Yeah, I understand it's like going to a resort.... everything looks all nice and well but 2 ft outside the fence the locals are shitting on the floor
Luckily that isn't my only resource so if i don't feel like dealing with Reddit there's other communities in other apps that provide the same thing for me.
The shame is reddit really coulda been something amazing - essentially a huge daily newspaper with whatever stories interest YOU. But... when they remove everything except one flavor it's not much of a buffet.
The only real use I have for Reddit is there's a community on there for those who want to / are trying to / already have stopped drinking.
Alcohol has been a huge issue in my life and I'm trying to break away from it, so the stopdrinking sub is one I enjoy. We stick to the topic, don't get involved in other bullshit that has sunken reddit
But far as anything political (including conspiracy) ehhh I pretty much came here so I didn't have to go there haha
Up until 2011 I lived about 20 minutes from downtown Denver, then in July I left for rural Kansas to take care of my disabled grandfather after grandma passed.. still here (and by some miracle so is he)
We live on a dirt road 10 miles from even a gas station. I never wanna go back to even suburban much less urban. Hell, that life is so fake you don't even get to see what the sky looks like at night
Love it in the woods. I don't even wanna visit "downtown" lol
I just had to spend last week in the hospital for pancreatitis (don't wish that shit on my enemies. It's hell) and tbh I was worried about that. They definitely had the opportunity with all the times I got poked while I was there.
I was just thinking recently about how all we really know about the past is what was written. Makes me wonder in 100 years what the story of this whole plandemic will be. Will that world know how bad ours fucked us, or will the history books only preserve the lie
On the flip side I was just watching something last night about the "gold rush" Era of uranium where people were doing everything from building their homes right on top the mines, to using it for food.
They knew that shit was deadly but didn't tell the people- So many American families killed off from that and it's not even really talked about anymore
Gov was offering tons of incentives to get men mining thar shit too. Sorta reminds me of how ridiculous the push for the Vax got...with everything from a lottery to free weed.
You should check out "wayseers manifesto" on YouTube.. it's a music video that's about 10 minutes long. Don't wanna spoil anything but for me personally.... when the world makes no sense I watch that from time to time and it helps remind me that I'm not the problem I'm just surrounded by them
Never heard of it, thanks for changing that
