Up until 2011 I lived about 20 minutes from downtown Denver, then in July I left for rural Kansas to take care of my disabled grandfather after grandma passed.. still here (and by some miracle so is he)
We live on a dirt road 10 miles from even a gas station. I never wanna go back to even suburban much less urban. Hell, that life is so fake you don't even get to see what the sky looks like at night
Love it in the woods. I don't even wanna visit "downtown" lol
Aww man that sounds epic. I live in what was a small town when I was a kid, but which now has +50k people. I wish I could somehow snap my fingers and return to the past version where there were woods everywhere.
