All it takes is a series of EMPs, man made or natural and most digital data is gone, that's why we concluded books are essential. Can't change what's printed on the pages. I highly advise building a massive library, but stay away from fiction, it would become meaningless in that situation. College textbooks would be worth more than gold if that event took place. My grandkids understand the importance and also understand that that type of event may not happen until they have grandkids. Rest assured, it's coming, but probably not in my lifetime

It's nothing new. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's a pretty fair amount of contestants on game shows ended up being in movies and commercials. It was explained that they were "discovered", but was likely an early role. Only difference now is AI can easily create that content and the "actor" is really only needed for making public appearances. Stunt men are most likely going to be replaced by AI if they haven't already. Always been a lot of fake B.S. in this world.

I have quite a few and I believe they are going to become valuable for those that want to know history. Hardback books will be the key to giving your kids a fighting chance. That said, I'm older and very conservative, but I have good friends that are a little older than I and definitely left of center and we all agree on my fourth point. We came to that conclusion a long time ago when the Internet was in its infancy. This has also been the consensus of many people we know and everyone I'm referring to has a masters or doctorate. Be careful and breach this subject carefully or you may pick up a rat in the mix. Ease into that area and tread lightly
