History may not repeat, but it always rhymes. I will agree a lack of action early on will only make the situation much more difficult to avoid. Urban areas will get hit harder no doubt. It has been said revolutions are fought on our knees with pitchforks and torches because that is what we are reduced to before we rise up. That would predict a much greater decline before enough people wake up. For the most part, we are on our own. If one is not prepared for that scenario, there is not much that can be done for them.

Yeah, looks like 2 turn around locations. I build houses and these guard shacks usually are not staffed until the community is almost complete due to the volume of construction traffic. These people typically are very nice until they move in and then will call the police on you when you enter the neighborhood for a warranty call. They damn well know who you are because they have interacted with you for a year
