It’s not censorship when the speech is meant to disrupt, and nothing else.

So many bad takes and poor understanding of the concept of free speech.

You’re probably an idiot, then.

This will hurt Biden on the environmental issue, for sure.

Bullshit.

He just made an assumption based on public information.

He didn’t give any of the specific information that Hersh is providing.

A lot of people assumed the US was behind it. It wasnt that sneaky.

But Hersh just handed everyone the goods. Everything.

The source you just provided contained almost NONE of the information in Hersh’s piece.

No, you didn’t know this. You suspected it.

The arrogance of some of the people here is astounding, tbh.

Having confirmation from Hersh’s sources is a big deal. This is solid and can’t be disputed as conspiracy or conjecture.

You know when, where, who, how and what.

What a total crock of shit.

This is nothing like censoring TD.

No one is trying to prevent FE from spreading. Do you hear how fucking stupid you sound?

It’s not that you’re a huge asshole. You’re just dumb.

Tucker works a bit differently.

Tucker takes on many of the important stories and then simply juxtaposes them with a social issue that’s unpalatable for like half the country.

It’s a more subtle poisoning of the well technique.

In the context of the political environment where .win servers are located….

Yes.

There is obvious potential for harm.

Anyone who defends FE is suspect. You are suspect.

You sound like a race obsessed fed.

Replied to the wrong person lol. But I don’t think this is an intellectually valid perspective.

The most hardcore free speech intellectuals would have separated speech and speech acts.

No one has the right to yell fire in a crowded theatre, or to foment a riot. These are reasonable restrictions.

FE debate has already had its time. The ideas have not been censored. Advocates have put out enough content for reasonable people to ascertain that it’s all nonsense.

A bad idea was allowed it’s time and the public square is better off after it’s thorough debunking and ridicule of its proponents.

But the reality is that FE is a psyop designed to HURT sites like this. You are smart enough to realize this.

Once you have that realization… it’s simple to see you’re dealing with speech acts, and not actual speech.

It’s more like an attempt to foment a riot than it is an actual attempt at debate or discussion. It’s a subversive and harmful act.

The responsible thing is to ban it.

If these people don’t like it, then fuck them! They are either idiots or shills, neither of which deserves your respect or time.

This is a relatively shallow way of looking at it and contrary to what the biggest free speech advocates believed.

Even clearly wrong ideas have merit in being expressed. But that’s happened here, quite enough already.

There is no merit to FE, or any further discussion of it.

Read the JSM essay “On Liberty”. It’s easy to find and free.

He would have advocated banning FE content because it’s not true speech at all. It’s not being put out there for legitimate debate or even security, or pursuit.

It’s a disruptive act, a psyop. that’s aimed at disrupting free speech that poses a political threat.

It’s a speech act. Just like you don’t have the right to go forment a riot with your speech… because that’s about an action, an end goal that is destructive and not about expression itself.

Not really. The Hasidic community isn’t all that bad.

These are the people who push back against government overreach. Most of those people refused the vaccine, and they blatantly ignored lockdown orders and all the oppressive bs.

There’s no way they’d let NYPD police their communities.

They also fund their own schools, and as a tight knit community in a large city… they stick together and share resources in an effective way.

It’s not like the Hasidic police are gonna fuck with other people.

I wouldn’t hesitate to ignore them. But trust me, they don’t want to have ANYTHING to do with you.
