I don't. however people (I do IT for the public and many clients do this) using tpb do along with many "open" sites.
plenty of closed sites with verified and clean torrents - simple and always high quality.
if you are not using radarr and sonarr for your selections, attached to private trackers, I am sorry, but you are doing it wrong.
I too used to manually search for torrents.
now? sonarr/radarr take care of getting the best quality release at my desired resolution with no interaction from me.
On top of all that? google knows absolutely nothing about what torrents I download.

The reason is the tracking of the torrents by the 3 letter agencies and that copyright mob. They get everything just by downloading and looking at the torrent traffic.
Private trackers are elitist to keep the assholes out.
Terms of entry cause them (3 letter agency types) to lie in order to gain access, which makes any attempt to use the sites data in court, inadmissible.
I get it, they have strict rules, much like any civilised society that wants to keep the riff raff out
