Happens ALL the time in Silicon Valley. They hire with promises then later do a corporate re-org and people get tossed like empty cans. So much corporate HR is composed of yes-women and DEIs. They will screw you over in a New York minute.

If you used regular projectors that are designed to take images from flat surfaces like film and project them, to a flat screen, well, that would seriously distort the relations of images objects on the curved target surface.
