The one wear it says there no real benefit in wearing masks for flu. So how did the masks stop the flu?

Soooo why haven’t they been telling us wear masks for decades now during flu season? They just let all those ppl die?

What about the studies done through out the 2000s on hospital staff, mask wearing and whether or not it helped slow the spread of flu that shows it has a negligible effect?

I could see the flu going down because ppl didn’t go visit other ppl but it should still spreading in some places. I could see a reduction in flu cases but not a 98% reduction.

Where I live, tons of ppl should’ve still gotten the flu last year Bc probably only half the ppl even wore masks. And 25 percent of the other half wore them incorrectly. Kids wore masks as school but not at lunch or snack.

I do think some of it is people didn’t go to the doctor like the usually would. I’ve probably had the flu a few times and not KNOWN it was the flu Bc I didn’t go get tested. Why would I? There isn’t really a treatment…but a lot of people used to run to the doctor for everything but now only go if it’s necessary. Like it should be.

My hubs had Bell’s palsy once, he had a long sinus infection and then the palsy showed up. He said he wouldn’t wish it on his worst enemy and it’s probably one of the biggest driving factors in his decision to never, ever get the vaccine. He’s terrified of getting it again.
